    I'm highly disappointed with this vet ! I have been taking my dogs here for quite some years. For their regular visit shots everything was fine. Until I took my dog in on a Friday , she was feeling down & Ill. I quite wasn't 100% sure if she was pregnant or not. Her behavior was abnormal so I took her in they did an ultrasound, 3 X-rays , & still no answers. At last before she left they blood work . Letting me know by Monday we should have an answer. Monday got here I called them in the morning to see their result ! Still no answers $500 later all this work & im still in the grey zone let her know how she's doing how she's acting what should I do oh no let's give it time . That same day in the evening I had to rush her in the Er for them to let me know right away what she had putting her in critical conditions $4,000 laters & her health being bad. Called the vet today in the morning wanted to speak to a doctor or manager . Let me know to wait for lunch time ... so the doctor Crovesi can go over her record before speaking to me I ask for a manager wasn't able to get no one. For an explanation in where the ball was dropped at !! Deff disappointed in letting my dog be high risk I would of had more respect if they did could be upfront & let me know to get a second opinion but I trusted them !

    Grooming...Kelly does a great job every time! Quick and beautiful and more affordable than petsmart. Just wish available more than 2 days a week.

Okay, first of all, they had to cancel my first appointment because a vet wasn't going to be there. The vet, it turned out, was there, but they never informed me. This caused my puppy to miss her second in a series of vaccinations, causing us to have to start over. Things happen. I would still have given a 5-star review. The people I interacted with in person were all lovely, professional, and polite. The follow up appointment for the second vaccination (because we had to start over) was supposed to be this weekend. I never received any email or phone call about the exact day and time. I called them twice yesterday, but they were closed. I left messages, but heard nothing back. I called today, and was informed that they somehow had it down that I was returning today but didn't have an official appointment scheduled. I don't understand how that is possible, but okay. Despite the fact I didn't have a schedules time, I had missed my appointment. How I missed an appointment I didn't have a time for, I don't exactly understand, but okay. Even THAT isn't what has earned this Banfield the 1-star review. What earned the 1-star review was the manager who answered the phone. I have never been spoken to so rudely and disrespectfully in a situation like this. She said, "She knew they had contacted me three times" because it was in her records. I haven't seen her records, but I'm assuming she's referring to when I was going back and forth with them about not wanting to be charged extra for a second appointment when I had to bring my dog in again because of their first scheduling mistake. After basically accusing me of lying and talking to me several times in a condescending tone, I asked her if I could speak to a manager. When she informed me she WAS the manager, I asked her if she could please use a respectful tone, and she said she wanted me to correct my tone. At this point, I said I'd be finding a new vet service to bring my puppy to and hung up.

We have had…read moreappointments rescheduled and then ultimately cancelled and my puppy is only 13 weeks old. Because of the cancelled appointment, that was scheduled weeks in advance, I had to drive to an alternative location. A result of that exam was that my puppy needed a urine test collection and I was informed to bring it to the Rivergate location for testing. I contacted rivergate on monday 11-10-25 and was told that they had to do a visit and couldn't accept the urine as the other location told us to do. After sharing I would NOT do a drop off appointment and only wanted an in room exam, it was scheduled for today 11-12-25 at 10:30. Imagine my surprise when we arrived and they stated I not only didn't have an appointment, but they can't see my puppy at all. So this poor pup is now going extra days with a potential issue simply due to poor management and scheduling. The manager I spoke to on the phone Monday even came to the desk and agreed that we spoke, agreed we discussed today at 10:30am for an appointment but said they can't see him. She did say she told me it would be 'express" and i could potentially wait hours- which was NOT said on the phone as I very directly stated Iwanted an appointment in room with a veterinarian and she assured me it would be. This is why I waited until wednesday as they had no availability on monday or tuesday. Clearly this does not make sense since I showed up at the specified time (that again she agreed we discussed) and stated that they are unable to help and wouldn't even be able to do an express or drop off now. I will not be returning to this location and urge you to do your research as they are constantly sharing they don't have veterinarians and will schedule appointments and cancel them 24 hours prior. Very poor management at the desk which is sad as I truly did like Dr. Jonathan for the 1 appointment I got to actually meet her.

Especially one who has had chronic ear infections since moving to the area 3 years ago. Dr Cory is beyond excellent with not only the owners, but also seems to build an honest and trusting bond with our pets. We've had to bring two of our cats into them, both of which have been rather nervous and have very different personalities. Dr Cory and his staff take such great care of them, and it is clear that they are animal lovers through and through. I've never felt rushed or ignored, with even the littlest question. We can say confidently our one cat is now ear infections since moving free for the first time in years due to their help and diligence, and we will never go to another clinic!

Everyone at FM Animal Hospital treat my 14yo reactive pup, 4yo anxious gazelle, and our 18yo grumpy kitty with immense amounts of kindness, patience, and love. We had an unexpected passing of my cat last year. Dr. Ellis spent extra time carefully going through options and findings, and was there for us after Grey passed and answered the million questions I threw at him. We were able to find some comfort during our grief knowing my sweet boy was in caring hands during his final days. I highly recommend the FM team. Life is already hectic -- why not opt for a team who treats your family like their own?

    EXOTIC PET OWNER HERE!! I have been to this animal hospital about 3 times in total. My pet hardly…read moreever has any issues. But when he does... boy oh boy... Recently, my Gecko developed an abscess on the left side of his head, which is a common occurrence among geckos, as they are clumsy and often hit their heads on objects inside their tanks. Well, I had freaked out and done a little bit of my own research from people who had the same/similar issue with their geckos. ALL concluded that their Gecko had their abscesses drained by a vet. So, I booked the soonest possible URGENT CARE appointment. I'll give them credit, they got me in quick. But man, I was so distraught with the service provided. The Vet who worked with my Gecko that day informed me that draining the abscess was NOT an option after I brought it up. She sent me home with a bunch of medications (missing one, which I later had to go back in and pick up). Maybe a week goes by, and I notice he has another issue, and the swelling of his head has INCREASED. We were seen by a different vet that day, and surgery was needed to drain the abscess. I left him to be taken care of by this amazing vet, who informed me she had never worked with a Leopard Gecko before and asked if I was comfortable with letting her perform the surgery or she could get a professional on a separate day. I didn't want to wait any longer because he was clearly in pain. (Not to this Dr's fault) My Gecko lost his eye due to the pressure built up on his left globe. I am absolutely devastated that the first doctor denied surgery as an option the first time. If the original doctor was uncomfortable performing the surgery on my pet, she could have booked me with someone else. This cost my pet an eye and I can't begin to imagine the pain my Gecko was in. He now struggles with hunting as he can't see on his left side. I have been trying to re-teach him how to hunt for his food / force feed him a supplemental food when he is struggling too much. I will not be returning to this Vet. (and yes... the reviews about this place smelling like ammonia are absolutely on point).
