You'll notice lots of happy customers! That's what I did when my concrete chimney crown cracked to the point where any rain event would make it's way into the ceiling of my home. As many other reviews have stated, they believed their job was too small to be of interest to any mason, including the McHenry team. Andre seems to be very adept at not only fitting his job review and estimates into very busy and fully scheduled work days, but also the actual work. Very attentive to the needs of his customer(s), and at what I deemed a very fair price. Andre didn't send a team of workers for a one-man job, rather, Grayson arrived, had been fully briefed on what needed to be done, and got right to work. He was able to remove the old/cracked crown, replace it with new concrete, remove the old flashing caulk and re-caulk with quality polyurethane product in a couple of late day visits. I was impressed with how quickly Grayson finished the job, especially from scaffolding he brought up to my roof. These guys have a ton of energy, answer questions with patience, and smile the entire time. Felt like they were trying to impress me and earn my future business, which I really appreciate in a contractor. There was caulk along the border between the wall and the tile that had to be scraped off before it could be painted and look at how clean the line is now! I love fun colors and with something this bright it's important that every angle be clean otherwise any mistakes are glaringly obvious. You can see how nicely everything was cut in and they always do such a great job protecting things that are not being painted and then cleaning up afterwards. I hired them to remove and replace baseboards and door trim through Home Depot's Pro service. They double-booked the day my project was supposed to start and instead of rescheduling (which I offered), they sent the owner's brother-in-law - who doesn't even work for the company - into my home. He caused damage, and the work was sloppy and incomplete. The workmanship was terrible: - Boards weren't nailed securely - Large gaps between baseboards and walls - No caulking at seams - Only some nail holes filled - Some corners are mitered, others aren't - they're just boards stuck together for an unfinished, inconsistent look - They skipped spray painting the boards (as outlined in the contract), left several unpainted, and only painted the front face of others. After several text messages with Adam around my disappointment with the incomplete and sloppy work, they did offer to come back and fix things (contract has a workmanship guarantee) - but at that point, NO THANK YOU. The trust was gone, and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them back in my home. I will likely have to rip half of it out and hire someone else to redo it - leaving me out a significant amount of money, and they don't care. Adam takes an 'Adam first' approach vs. a customer first approach as advertised. The finished product looks like a rushed DIY job I could've done myself. Unprofessional from start to finish.

We were in no real hurry but they went ahead and scheduled when the person was by himself and did not speak English. That language thing is not the issue...it is that they sent him alone knowing this. The fixes were made to some of the other work as it was done right the first time and this team made it seem like we should be happy they gave us something for free for it..some bracket for the gutter. There were times when -and I do understand family things that come up-that communication and follow up were awful. Lucky for us my husband works from home and can flex his schedule. We chose this team because they presented the scope of work so much better than anyone else and not based on the cost of the service alone. Too bad you didn't live up to that.
