Toilets are sufficient for the men, but there is usually a line for the ladies. Bud Walton was Sam Walton's brother and was one of the original founders of the Wal-Mart empire. He apparently donated half of the construction cost for the arena, which today is the home of the University of Arkansas men's and women's basketball teams, aka the Razorbacks. It has a seating capacity of 19,368 and is also used for large events in Northwest Arkansas, such as U of A graduations and the Wal-Mart Shareholders Meeting. Seats are reasonably comfortable and unless you are in the nosebleed section, you have a good view of the entire basketball court. You can also see the several dozen banners hanging from the rafters that list the Razorback's assorted NCAA ranked finishes and championships. Soooooie! Pig!

Since then, I've grown to love and support the Hogs right alongside him! The vibe driving up to the stadium is absolutely amazing--it gives you chills even before stepping inside. Every time we visit my husband's hometown, we make it a tradition to stop by the stadium gift shop to grab some merch. The customer service has always been top-notch--everyone is so welcoming and friendly! On our last visit, they even let us tour the museum inside the stadium, which was such a cool experience. I'll admit, I didn't know who anyone was, but luckily my husband was there to give me the full Razorback history lesson. Another family tradition of ours is taking a picture in front of the fountain each year. Unfortunately, it was under construction during our last trip, but we're hopeful it'll be ready for our next visit. One day, I truly hope we get the chance to fly out and experience an actual game in person--I can only imagine how incredible it must be! Razorback Stadium isn't just a place for fans--it's a special experience that brings families and traditions together, no matter where you're from.

Back in its heyday this was one of the loudest basketball courts in the nation for college basketball. Now it's used for the lady backs gymnastics team and the volleyball teams. Being a student is already scary enough. Many freshmen have never had the chance to live on their…read moreown before. The least that the University could offer for the already small dorms is a good working heating and cooling system. I came to Arkansas this past fall 2025 and never had lived on my own before. I just thought that the bad temperatures were the "norm" for college dorms. After speaking with other students, I realized that this is not the case. While already in a stressful environment, the hot temperatures only make it worse. When I first moved in around August, it was about 80 to 90 degrees outside. This wasn't that new to me because I am from Texas. What I wasn't expecting though, was for it to be about the same temperature inside the building as well. I had even bought a cute comforter that I haven't been able to use because it has been too hot. Even with my thin blanket, I will still wake up sweating because it seems to get hotter at night. I have tried multiple times to change the temperature using the A.C. unit in our shared space but it does little to nothing. It also will switch back to the original temperature not long after. When reaching out to people to fix things in the dorm, they are quick to answer and get it done, but it just does not last.
