Any attorney that can't show you detailed billing on where your money is going is shady. This firm does not believe in detail billing, or they didn't at least when they were representing me. I had no idea what I was paying for and since I never needed an attorney before I had no idea what to ask. After many bad decisions Paul just dropped me as a client without any notifications or heads up. I just got papers in the mail. Talk about not ethical. I could go on and on, but I wont.... I was later asked to submit a deposit in order to answer additional questions and further evaluate the matter. After doing so, I was informed that the firm would not be willing to file the more complex case. When I asked if they could recommend an attorney better suited to handle a more in-depth matter, if we choose to go that route but at this the attorney declined representation entirely and did not provide a clear explanation for the decision. Although the deposit was refunded, the process resulted in a significant loss of time and caused frustration, particularly given that my interest in exploring a more complex option had been disclosed from the beginning.
