I will say that I used to be a member and always donated to the cause but admittedly a few years back they did lose Me. In August it was released to pop up outdoor drive in theaters where each car was charged a fee for access. This type of venue did not do this show any justice and it was not appreciated by anyone but true hardcore Metallica fans. Much like the first S & M offering it is an incredible melding of two entirely different styles of music but somehow it works and in a Huge Killer way. I got a text the night of the PBS show from My fellow Music Lover and Yelp Sister Mercedes C. who told Me about it, and again the following morning She said "Man that Shiit was Fire"!! and I couldn't have said it any better Myself. These programs educated me as well as my class in the days I taught Head Start. Educational Supplies were not always available but children watched TV at home. I tried to steer families in the direction of beneficial programs. Now flash forward. I'm living on retirement funds that are not allowing me the luxury of hundreds of cable channels. I signed up for our NYC public television emails. WNET Channel 13. There's such a variety of excellent shows on. I've done some screenshots from my emails of the current shows on in October. I can't say enough about this Network and the benefits of public broadcasting. I wish I could afford to donate. I also wish I wouldn't fall asleep during the shows. Oh well! I highly recommend you tune in. Look up the network in your area. Let's all support public television and put the cable and Internet TV out of business. Or at least give them serious competition and drive their prices down. The haves can pay and the have nots remain in the dark.......

I spend a good part of the late 1980s onwards watching Fox's sitcom "Married with Children." Other Fox shows I absolutely loved were "Ally McBeal" and "That '70s Show!" I didn't realize "That '70s Show" is Fox's second longest running live-action sitcom, and that it aired for eight seasons. I lost track of Fox in the early 2000s as they were jumping on the reality television train, and their program offerings were not interesting to me. I do like, that Fox, unlike the other "big three" networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) does not air network daytime programming such as soap operas, game shows, or talk shows. Oh and there's an unspoken third -- never joke about Patty Hearst (or "government cheese") on a crowded elevator -- or for that matter, proclaim the greatness of the thinly veiled William Randolph Hearst biopic, Citizen Kane around the water cooler. Considering that they publish Cosmo, Esquire and shovel out a metric ton of bad reality programming on A+E and the Lifetime Network, they can be remarkably uptight about such things. BTW, they also publish some very fine magazines. And for you kids reading this, Google "magazines", Patty Hearst and "government cheese."
