Especially popular around Christmas time. Whenever I go their I always find something i don't need but have to have just in case! I ended up buying a cute wise owl sitting on a pile of books, painted both in front and back. The shop proprietor doesn't speak English, so you've either to brush up on your German or use the widely accepted sign-language that braves most language barriers.

I was looking for an old school magic: the gathering deck, and he took the time to help me find it, and when it wasn't on the store, he directed me an outside source where I can buy it. Maybe he was as nerdy as I am, and he was just interested in the cards themselves rather than helping me, but regardless, I did not expecting this level of service in Berlin. A note though, the nice man who helped me did not speak english well, but he tried his best to understand my horrible german and even got another customer to help us out.
