On the plus side, you can probably find what you need there - at either end of the spectrum, without breaking the bank. On the minus side, they don't have a ton of elegant, high-quality costumes - many are better-than-Halloween-store quality, but not by much. It's a little like the Tardis - it goes back deeper than it seems. Service is quite nice and rather German - at first a bit curt (whether you can go behind counters) and sporadically superattentive until they're on break. But they're very sweet and helpful and affordable and overall, a good choice in a city without a lot of good choices.

They sent me 1 feather fan that was like the one I ordered, and two different ones, which were not what I ordered. Very inconvenient, as the fans were for the same performance. The white fans also had yellow glue stains in them. Not pretty. The pompadour wig was expensive compared to others we ordered elsewhere, yet VERY VERY low quality - it looked like the cheapest faux fur hat instead of a wig. It was horribly big even for a man's head, didn't fit at all, no matter what we did! The pearl strings on it were all sewn askew, looked so cheap! The face paints (white and gold) were completely see-through, even after two layers. Quite far from "professional make up", I'd say. We had to use other paints in our performance, these were unusable. I'll never order anything from maskworld.com again, this was the absolute worst online shopping experience of my life, a total rip-off!

Especially popular around Christmas time. Whenever I go their I always find something i don't need but have to have just in case!
