After mentioning the issue, I was told rather abruptly that my car was at risk of sparking and blowing up while driving -- a very alarming statement to make without any thorough inspection. We went inside to get the assistant manager, who admitted she didn't know what to do and quickly brought out another team member. They then stated that wires were burning from the inside out. As for the battery test, no clear explanation was given after the initial check. When we followed up to ask if it needed replacement, the employee suddenly said, "Actually, yes," and started quoting voltage numbers off the top of his head -- without referencing the machine that had tested the battery. It felt like the numbers may have been made up to pressure us into purchasing a new one. Before the employees even offered any real solutions, we had already called a trusted family friend who understands cars well. After we explained the situation over the phone, he was able to walk us through exactly what was happening -- without seeing the car or even looking at any numbers.
