Once AAA had jumped it, I called around to find a new battery and there were none to be found in the area (dealerships, auto parts stores, battery shops, etc.), until I called Motor City. A bit of a "hail Mary", I almost couldn't believe it when they told me that they had a choice of new or refurbished batteries for me, for (at most) 60% of what the dealers had quoted for a battery to be delivered in a week. Before driving the 45 minutes/45 miles, I called again to make sure, and asked about borrowing a wrench, and Nate told me that they offer free installation in their drive-through garage. Seemed too good to be true but it served, actually, to recalibrate my metrics for expectations. I pulled right in, and the battery was changed out in 5 minutes. I paid and was on the road home in 10 minutes. Awesome!!! Highly recommended!!!

I found this place on Yelp, and since it was only a few miles from the office, I swung in. The store itself is clean and well stocked. Happy to see a nice clean store! I had called the store earlier and the guy, who's name ended up being Jesse was really helpful. When I came in, he strolled out from the back and took a look at the fob or me. He said that the fob was old and broken, and needed to be replaced, and offered me a guy across town who could fix it for me. I was really happy with my time here. Guy is knowledgeable, friendly and prices are fair all around. They even have car bays as well! NICE! I will return in the future for other services.
