I've been coming to this store out of convenience for many years. I don't know how these proprietors survived the pandemic. It's certainly not because of this married couple's warm & engaging demeanour. Far from it. Where costumer service seriously lacked before, it's all but vanished now. I went in to buy a battery for my key fob. Aside from being their unpleasant selves, the now wanted to charge me for opening up the fob. Last straw folks. Despite their rude & haughty attitude I've always remained polite. They always have to make a straightforward transaction unnecessarily difficult. You'd think they'd make business easier not more difficult, you'd think. They lost out on that purchase & a substantially more expensive purchase. Several problems with this company!! First of all don't trust the hours of business on the web. They change their hours all the time. Also they DON'T ACCEPT RETURNS even if they assure you they are selling you the correct battery. It didn't charge what I needed it for .. I tried to return. They said no returns allowed....they are only small business. SMALL BUSINESS WITHOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GOOD LUCK TO THEM!!! They did say they would send it back to mfg and if battery ok they would not give you your money back. Don't forget they told me what battery was needed!!!!! Very Upset. Gentleman working there is rude and seemed annoyed that I came in and inconvenienced him. Was not interested in figuring out what kind of battery I needed for key fob because it meant touching my keys. He gave a quote for the replacement that was absurd based on how much a battery of that kind would cost. (Canadian Tire ran out and I was hoping to support small business). When I asked how much it would cost for the item alone without install, he said, "then go get yourself " and promptly handed back my keys. I agreed to and walked out in disbelief of the attitude and will never go back again. Cheaper on Amazon, so know your prices so you don't get gauged or treated poorly. read more

Have purchased batteries before, owners very helpful. Today took a cordless phone battery in, thinking it needed replacement. They tested it and wouldn't sell me one, said it wasn't the battery, told me to try unplugging phone and jacks, then reprogram ie. re-register to base It worked! Thanks to them for simple fix! read more

I'm a very thorough guy. I had precise physical measurements of my old battery as it needs to fit in an assembly that is snug. I had a picture of my old battery showing the electrical specifications and model number. After taking some time to measure the replacement offered at this store and compare the electrical specs, I was satisfied that it would work and took it to the front counter to pay. The persons behind the counter said something to each other in their native language and then refused to sell me the $35 battery because I was too cautious about selecting the battery! Buyer beware took in my old battery to get a new one they sold me a replacement. I took it home and it is the wrong battery. And now they have a no refund policy so I am out the money it cost me for the batteries. read more
