    Should be floor to ceiling

    On November 17th 2021 I signed a contract with Bath Fitter Idaho to have my tub/shower replaced. The installation did not begin until 3 three months later on February 28, 2022. When they installed the shower it did not go floor to ceiling as promised in the contract and was told I would be compensated which has not happened. I called them back out because they did not install a three valve correctly so their plumber came to correct it 2 1/2 weeks later. On March 7 Glass Doctor ( a subcontractor which they claim on their website they don't use) was out to measure for the door. I don't understand why they had to measure again since the measurements were in the contract. Then 2 MONTHS alter, May 7 Glass Doctor came to install the door finally, but it was the wrong door (Bath Fitter ordered the wrong door) and it would not fit. Then two months later on July 30, I received a bill in the mail so I promptly called and said I don't even have a shower door yet and they said I'll look into that. September 19, 10 MONTHS since I signed the contract, Glass Doctor installed the door and did repairs to the trim around the shower that Bath Fitter installed incorrectly. November 3rd I received a text message (no bill no email ) demanding payment that same day. I called immediately and talked to Olga (who was rude and demanding) on the phone and told her I was supposed to have a credit for the shower not going floor to ceiling which was extremely important for the aesthetic, considering I have a vaulted ceiling. She said she would "look into it" but I she didn't call me back until a month and a half later. December 23, I was told by the unprofessional Olga that I would not receive a credit because I did not respond to her Dec 12th text message demanding payment in a timely manner. I did not get what I was promised and went without a shower door for 11 months! I am extremely skeptical to think what kind of service I will get in the future with the lifetime warranty. Eventually 10 months later, I was able to use the shower.

    They were in and out in one day, he arrived at 9am and left at 8:30pm. That was very late and his work as the day went on became subpar. We have had them come out to fix the original work but that was only after they blamed us for damaging his work! Why? For the price we paid for just a shower, it should be perfect in every way, it is still not great. Very choppy job, it looks like I installed it.

    Had my tub and shower redone and the installers were very professional. Had no questions about it and they showed me how to use the control of the tub and shower. They did a nice work.

    We selected Bath Fitter to modernize our bathroom and convert it from a tub to shower. We wanted it to be able to accommodate our needs as we get older. Bath Fitter is locally owned, makes their materials in the USA and offers a lifetime warranty. Dave Richards in sales knew his product better than the two competitors that gave us bids. We got exactly what we wanted and installer James Bingham completed the job to perfection in less than one day. Every previous customer that I checked had nothing but good to say about their experience and I agree. There is a wait of a few weeks wait because they special order the materials and their business is booming (they have something like 12-14 crews) but its worth getting the remodel that you'll love.

    Would not recommend these guys. Wasn't happy with process and had complaints. Tried to work through office manager and she was rude.
