My Main Bedroom, shower is made of tile, but the floor tile kept coming loose and water was getting tapped underneath, smelling of sewage. I called several locations to install my new vinyl shower. Once I spoke with Bath Fitter, I found that their prices were so much better compared to all the others. I wont lie, I hate to spend that much cash on a shower, but in the long run, it will be worth it. So far its good Quality and looks great. The installer did a great job. Took roughly 8 hours to install. Hard worker. As a side note, and its not meant to be negative. My install requires a custom door/glass. Once the installer laid the foundation; I will now have to wait a week or so for someone to measure the shower to fit the galls/door. Then, possibly wait a month to have the actual door and glass installed. I knew this going in, just wanted folks to be aware so you can plan for delays like this, I'm fortunate I have 2 other showers to use. I'm happy read more

Nice install. But found out it has been slow leaking for more than a year. BAth Fitter Lifetime warranty is just for the tub and enclosure, not the plumbing which was done incorrectly and they say they will not cover the repairs and new dry wall that needs to be replaced. Very disappointed in that the leak did start within their one year warranty period but was not discovered until after that period, so they will not cover cost to repair. A bit disappointed in Bath Fitter of Utah!!! Update: July 11, 2023 - Nick came out from Bath Fitter, he is their main plumber - found that seal between tub and drain had not been installed correctly. He replaced seal and leak appears to be gone, said there was no charge , Said he would check with the powers in charge to see if they would cover the drywall replacement. I am sorry to see that people have had a disappointing experience with Bath Fitters. We have used them twice in 2 different homes with never an issue. We just had our "new home" shower ripped out last week(cheap insert with no doors, just a shower curtain) and Bath Fitters redid the whole thing right down to the ply wood...real plywood and waterproof boarding, which our new shower did not have behind the unit. We now have a beautiful shower with a seat, 2 grip bars and sliding doors for less than half the price of what a contractor was going to charge for a tiled shower. The installers were professional and tidy with their work and made sure that we would be happy with the placement of the tower, seat and bars. No issues whatsoever. Love the shower that Bath Fitters installed for us. Our salesman, Rick, explained everything to us and even showed us a way we could save some money. Our installer, Steven, was a joy to have in our home. This project was a 2 day project and he was very pleasant and kept the area clean and picked up throughout the whole install process. He even went above and beyond by helping me with a different pressing issue that needed to be done in one of our bedrooms before the carpet could be installed. (Yes, we had Bath Fitters AND carpet installers here at the same time!) Decided on a master bath 'update' verse a total gutting and remodel so decided to redo the shower in a less expensive manner. Called Bath Fitters and their customer service is fantastic. Prompt reply to my request for a quote and told me to 'name the day and time', and they were there. Alec Q arrived and was a pleasure to work with. We had a fantastic experience with Bath Fitter. We called to talk to a representative and he made an appointment to show us our options and go over pricing. He was on time (awesome) and was really nice and helpful. Yes, their prices are a little higher, but you pay for quality and service which is what we got. Our technician was a bit late, but the company let us know that morning that he was running behind with another customer. He showed up with another technician to guarantee the work was done in the same time frame although he arrived behind schedule. Every aspect of this company is great -- from the initial visit and suggestions, to the removal of the previous tub and cleaning up underneath the old tile, to the installation of the beautiful shower we now have. Some might consider this a negative, but I consider it a plus, A BIG PLUS in customer service. I was excited to see them come to my house. I worked the night before to do the demolition of the old tub/shower to save a few dollars. He started right to work squaring up the space and preparing for the new product. I watched as much as I could and he explained everything he was doing. He replaced the grab vars, making sure they were anchored to studs on both ends and the longest one at an angle that will allow me to grab it easily in case of a slip.
