Great visit with Liz the hygienist. Very good care. My teeth feel clean and polished. I highly recommend!

Here's the revised review with your additional details:…read more --- **Avoid This Dental Office at All Costs!** I had the absolute worst experience here. I walked in with a tooth causing me excruciating pain, hoping for relief. I specifically requested sedation for the extraction due to a traumatic past experience with my wisdom teeth. Instead, I was told I had to wait nine days to see Dr. Jason. When I returned, I faced yet another obstacle: a $175 consultation fee just to be seen again, meaning another seven days of agony. Frustrated and in unbearable pain, I decided to go through with the extraction without sedation. What followed was a nightmare. The pain was indescribable as Dr. Jason struggled with my tooth, breaking it in the process. I was screaming in agony, and two young girls in the waiting room even told their dad, "No way!" and left. I had to take 45-minute breaks just to catch my breath, while the staff had the audacity to yell at me to be quiet! I arrived for my 9:45 AM appointment and didn't leave until after 3 PM--all for one molar. It's clear this place prioritizes money over patient care and is full of liars. Now, when their commercial comes on TV, I relive that horrific experience, and my heart races with anxiety. Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist. No one should have to endure what I went through here! YOU KNOW THAT GUY IN THE DENTIST CHAUR AT THE ROCHESTER MUSEUM SCREAMING IN AGONY THAT WAS ME

Absolutely horrible! First when walking in, it's like walking into a funeral home. The tension is…read moreso thick, employees don't laugh or communicate with each other or with the customers except for what is necessary. Dr Marzo herself is rude. I was charged for services that were supposed to be part of the plan I PAID FOR ALREADY! The girl that submits the insurance, didn't seem to know how. I have Aetnea for health and BCBS for dental and she said she had only done it with BCBS health and dental. She never submitted any of the paperwork, I had to do it myself, guess what, it wasn't hard. On a visit after have receiving dentures I made a comment to the girl that was setting up the room that this whole experience was harder than I thought it would be. A few minutes later, Dr. Marzo came in and rudely stated," I heard what you said and I told you this would be hard! If you aren't happy with our services, I will gladly give you a full refund! And I won't help you anymore.!" I was so shocked that a so called professional would come at me like that I didn't even know what to say! I never said I wasn't happy with the services, even though I was! I left there and immediately called Aspen Dental in Horseheads and I wish I could go back in time and went there in the first place.. It was like night to day difference! Anyway, I have been calling the office daily to speak to the office manager to get the refund I was told I could get, and she NEVER returns my call, even when I had questions before, I could never get anyone to return my call regarding the insurance. I wish I had read the reviews before giving them $4,000. Lesson learned the hard way....

Care quality is OK, and they have expensive imaging machine, which is maybe why they charge 2 to 3…read moretimes what I expected, after research, for extraction w/ bone graft, crown on implant.

This was my first time here. I was a bit concerned when the initial conversation with the dentist…read moreincluded the comment "many people spend thousands of dollars to have the implants done". I'm terrified of dentists so I can't be sure what the rest of the conversation was, but that comment was a concern for me (thinking "why did he say that?) The staff is very nice. I had an appointment just before 4pm. I did not have to wait. They took x rays, and these were x rays I have never seen before. They took the regular ones (the black and white ones) but then they took some that were actually color photos of my teeth. The dentist showed me these on a large tv screen (which was on the wall in front of the dental chair). He showed me the areas of concern; why they concerned him and what should be done to correct the problem. When I was done the receptionist gave me an estimate for the procedures I needed done. ($3000 for two crowns) The only problem I encountered was that I called before scheduling an appt to see if they accepted our dental insurance. I was told they "Accepted" it. Apparently, I did not understand that there is a difference between "we accept it" and "being a provider" (ok, lesson learned). The receptionist was kind enough to explain that what that means is that we (my husband had an appt too) pay out of pocket for the procedures done and they file the claim with the insurance company for us (so we don't have to) and then the insurance company will reimburse us. This was a BIG surprise for me and thankfully we were able to cover it. I like this dentist but paying out of pocket for entire bill is the only negative
