Always paid. They would not do the work unless I paided up front. They are bent on profit only. Even when the patient is at risk. I had to go to a dentist that I did not know. Instead, I was told I had to wait nine days to see Dr. Jason. When I returned, I faced yet another obstacle: a $175 consultation fee just to be seen again, meaning another seven days of agony. Frustrated and in unbearable pain, I decided to go through with the extraction without sedation. What followed was a nightmare. The pain was indescribable as Dr. Jason struggled with my tooth, breaking it in the process. I was screaming in agony, and two young girls in the waiting room even told their dad, "No way!" and left. I had to take 45-minute breaks just to catch my breath, while the staff had the audacity to yell at me to be quiet! I arrived for my 9:45 AM appointment and didn't leave until after 3 PM--all for one molar. It's clear this place prioritizes money over patient care and is full of liars. On a visit after have receiving dentures I made a comment to the girl that was setting up the room that this whole experience was harder than I thought it would be. A few minutes later, Dr. Marzo came in and rudely stated," I heard what you said and I told you this would be hard! If you aren't happy with our services, I will gladly give you a full refund! We have tried multiple places but due to either driving distance or the atmosphere of the office I was unhappy. Yesterday my children had their consultation visits, x rays and cleaning at Dr. Shinebarger's office. From the minute we walked in I felt comfortable. The staff was amazing, we were greeted by Erica at the front desk. Then we saw Lindsey for X-rays and the consultation. After that we got to meet Dr. Shinebarger who sat down and talked with us for a lot longer than most dentists who fly in, look in your kids mouth and walk out then charge you $70. This dentist was like no other! He talked to the kids, did a very thorough exam and made them both feel comfortable. When my ten year old smiles and says I really like this place -while at a dentist office?! Then you know it's right. Both of my children had cleanings done by Heather who did an amazing job. I was impressed by all the staff and I felt so relieved when we left because I found an office close to home with a friendly staff that I can trust which is not an easy thing to find these days. After that when I let him to do crowns for me, he substituted one good crown for one made of a rougher material with a more primitive finish. I worried at the time that he had found another cost saving deception to pass on to me but I had no proof until the crown started to deteriorate last year. It's almost all the way Crumbed by now. Clearly not what I paid for. Again. Be careful of cost saving substitutions with Dr. Eaves. I didn't get what I paid for. Not with the Invisalign either. They etched my teeth and the lack of authorized retainers has made that a poor investment as well.

I'm terrified of dentists so I can't be sure what the rest of the conversation was, but that comment was a concern for me (thinking "why did he say that?) The staff is very nice. I had an appointment just before 4pm. I did not have to wait. They took x rays, and these were x rays I have never seen before. They took the regular ones (the black and white ones) but then they took some that were actually color photos of my teeth. The dentist showed me these on a large tv screen (which was on the wall in front of the dental chair). He showed me the areas of concern; why they concerned him and what should be done to correct the problem. When I was done the receptionist gave me an estimate for the procedures I needed done. ($3000 for two crowns) The only problem I encountered was that I called before scheduling an appt to see if they accepted our dental insurance. I was told they "Accepted" it. Apparently, I did not understand that there is a difference between "we accept it" and "being a provider" (ok, lesson learned). The receptionist was kind enough to explain that what that means is that we (my husband had an appt too) pay out of pocket for the procedures done and they file the claim with the insurance company for us (so we don't have to) and then the insurance company will reimburse us. This was a BIG surprise for me and thankfully we were able to cover it. I like this dentist but paying out of pocket for entire bill is the only negative

The next step was exposing the abutments, scans, and a temporary denture that easily popped into place. With each procedure, I appreciated the time to heal emotionally and physically. Today, I am having my final visit that will complete this journey. I want to thank Dr. Ryan and the amazing staff for being there for me, holding my hand, and explaining every step along the way.
