Always paid. They would not do the work unless I paided up front. They are bent on profit only. Even when the patient is at risk. I had to go to a dentist that I did not know. However, Maria Marzo was an absolute nightmare to deal with. She treated her staff poorly throughout our visits. While we were in a private room speaking with the manager about the treatment we had received, she entered to drop off paperwork. During that time, a hygienist came in to get her for something else, and she snapped, "Get out!" Her tone was harsh and dismissive. On multiple occasions, we witnessed her speaking to staff in a similar manner. The atmosphere immediately shifted when she entered the room--staff who were previously smiling and joking became quiet and visibly anxious. We also overheard her lecturing staff in a very self-righteous and condescending way. I have many other concerns as well, including the repeated video she requires patients to watch of herself, which came across as unnecessary and uncomfortable. Most concerning, when she learned we had a specific personal preference regarding treatment, she abruptly stated she would refuse to continue our care. This resulted in two wasted appointments and time taken off work. Overall, I would not recommend this practice based on her behavior toward both patients and staff. I understand she often responds to reviews, so I will simply say this: there is nothing further you can do to change our experience. Your behavior was unprofessional and dismissive, and it reflects poorly on the practice. I genuinely hope your staff find employment in an environment where they are treated with respect and not made to feel intimidated or degraded. Good Riddance! Zero stars

We have tried multiple places but due to either driving distance or the atmosphere of the office I was unhappy. Yesterday my children had their consultation visits, x rays and cleaning at Dr. Shinebarger's office. From the minute we walked in I felt comfortable. The staff was amazing, we were greeted by Erica at the front desk. Then we saw Lindsey for X-rays and the consultation. After that we got to meet Dr. Shinebarger who sat down and talked with us for a lot longer than most dentists who fly in, look in your kids mouth and walk out then charge you $70. This dentist was like no other! He talked to the kids, did a very thorough exam and made them both feel comfortable. When my ten year old smiles and says I really like this place -while at a dentist office?! Then you know it's right. Both of my children had cleanings done by Heather who did an amazing job. I was impressed by all the staff and I felt so relieved when we left because I found an office close to home with a friendly staff that I can trust which is not an easy thing to find these days. After that when I let him to do crowns for me, he substituted one good crown for one made of a rougher material with a more primitive finish. I worried at the time that he had found another cost saving deception to pass on to me but I had no proof until the crown started to deteriorate last year. It's almost all the way Crumbed by now. Clearly not what I paid for. Again. Be careful of cost saving substitutions with Dr. Eaves. I didn't get what I paid for. Not with the Invisalign either. They etched my teeth and the lack of authorized retainers has made that a poor investment as well.

This was my first time here. I was a bit concerned when the initial conversation with the dentist…read moreincluded the comment "many people spend thousands of dollars to have the implants done". I'm terrified of dentists so I can't be sure what the rest of the conversation was, but that comment was a concern for me (thinking "why did he say that?) The staff is very nice. I had an appointment just before 4pm. I did not have to wait. They took x rays, and these were x rays I have never seen before. They took the regular ones (the black and white ones) but then they took some that were actually color photos of my teeth. The dentist showed me these on a large tv screen (which was on the wall in front of the dental chair). He showed me the areas of concern; why they concerned him and what should be done to correct the problem. When I was done the receptionist gave me an estimate for the procedures I needed done. ($3000 for two crowns) The only problem I encountered was that I called before scheduling an appt to see if they accepted our dental insurance. I was told they "Accepted" it. Apparently, I did not understand that there is a difference between "we accept it" and "being a provider" (ok, lesson learned). The receptionist was kind enough to explain that what that means is that we (my husband had an appt too) pay out of pocket for the procedures done and they file the claim with the insurance company for us (so we don't have to) and then the insurance company will reimburse us. This was a BIG surprise for me and thankfully we were able to cover it. I like this dentist but paying out of pocket for entire bill is the only negative

The next step was exposing the abutments, scans, and a temporary denture that easily popped into place. With each procedure, I appreciated the time to heal emotionally and physically. Today, I am having my final visit that will complete this journey. I want to thank Dr. Ryan and the amazing staff for being there for me, holding my hand, and explaining every step along the way. You are all special to me. I love my new smile, and I can bite down on waffle cone ice cream cones now. Don't ever hesitate to put your dental care in their hands.
