Place an order online. It literally took forever for it to show up in my inbox that it was ready for pickup. But I was at the mall earlier in the day before I got the email and they wouldn't help me to get my order. While I was there. They said they were too busy. Meanwhile, three of their associates were just milling around the store chatting with people. Not even helping them. Just having conversations and laughing. The lady behind the register told me that I could just cancel my order and rebuy. Everything that I wanted. Told her I didn't want to do that because I used rewards and it got complicated and I asked if she could just fulfill my order now. She wasn't busy at all and neither were her co-workers. She said they had too many orders to do that. I tried to cancel my order online and it's practically impossible to even find where to do that. I use their online chat. They said it was canceled but it's not canceled. I keep getting emails to go pick up my order but I'm not planning to go back to the mall at all in the near future. Just a bad experience and very unhelpful woman behind the register. And then I heard her talking bad about me to another customer. read more

Absolutely THE WORST customer service with mindless millennials working the floor. First, floor staff doesn't pay attention to our full arms to ask us if we needed a basket ( like they do down the mall at Sephora) until I walked up and made them look at me. Checking out was abysmal, particularly when another clueless employee splits the line in 2 ensuring that the woman who was next had to wait, letting the people who were behind her go first. We were looking for some shampoo and body wash for my mom and visited this location where everything seemed to be on specials or sales. We weren't disappointed. Although choice election in shampoos were limited , we found some but there were a wide variety of body washes and we picked up several on sale. But when we got up to the cash register we found out we had more special choices and got some additional free. Great visit for quality products.Great customer service from all read more

I love their products. I can't tell you have many sprays and lotions I have gotten over the years, and how many gifts I have bought for other people here.. That being said. I understand that this is a retail business and they have needs they have to meet. But what I don't enjoy is being ambushed as soon as I walk in asking if I need help finding anything. Gee, I don't know, I've only put one foot into the door. I also do not enjoy being told about EVERY SINGLE SALE they have going on. I can read, I can see the 86096896 signs you have posted. Another thing I don't enjoy is being followed. I swear, these people must get commission for following you around constantly asking you if you need help or if you need to find something. Woman, I'm trying to smell these samples so I can BUY something. I love good customer service, don't get my wrong, but It's just as bad to have someone attached to me. Half the time I just leave because I don't want to be bothered with being asked a million questions, and especially at the register. I'm not sure if this is the one in the ocean county mall but that is the one I'm reviewing. I LOVE bath and body works I purchase from them at least 3 times a month. (Usually online) I went into the mall location the other day and I just wanted to purchase a wallflower because they were on sale. I just grabbed the one I wanted and went up to the register. I slid my card and the lady said "ok when the next screen pops up just hit the yes button so we can send you coupons" I didn't want to waste time entering my email so I hit skip. She then handed me my reciept and said "next time hit yes" with SUCH an attitude. I think I can decide for myself if I want a coupon. Plus they give you one with every purchase anyway!!! I probably will return to this location because it's the only option other than online for me, but I will make sure to hit skip every time. read more
