I did a simple search "Find Lawyers" near "Louisville KY" and "Batey Law Office" came up as #2. After reading their individual profiles, their experience impressed me very much, so I set up my appointment with them. I was also impressed when they asked me to fax the documents that I would need to provide to them so they can review them before our meeting. Most other firms would want you to bring those documents in for their review when you have your meeting in person which can possible cost you much more money for their time. They went above and beyond by sending me a recap of our meeting in the event I will need to refer to them in the near future. The situation I am dealing with for reasons why I need a Lawyer in the 1st place is far from over, the good thing is that I do not have to go out of my way to find a better Law Firm because in my opinion, there are no others. read more

I was extremely impressed by this office. My daughters divorce had been sitting for a year before we hired Katie. Within the first week she had already been working on filing a child support order and getting things rolling. Both Katie and Jo were very responsive and knowledgeable. Hands down Katie is the best attorney in Louisville! My daughters now ex husband and his parents were just down right horrible, mean and controlling people who cared more about winning than the best interest of the child and Katie had their heads spinning. I wouldn't hire any other attorney in Louisville, just a great experience all the way around!
