I was excited to find Presnell's on Yelp and that they carry local eggs as well. I picked up apples, eggs, dried pasta, local cheese and they were selling great quality homemade face masks for $3.50. I found the cutest double sided mask made with Christmas fabric. All of this for about $20 and very friendly people. I'm glad to support local, mom and pop businesses!

We were pleasantly surprised by the superb quality of their offerings. Their zucchini and squash were flawlessly presented. They had beautiful strawberries by the bucket. Their frozen meat products were plentiful and they had an array of honeys, jams, and relishes. Ice cream is very much on the menu at the farm whether it be on a cone, cup, or in a shake. The best part was going in the back with my wife where she picked wild flowers (no charge), along with sunflowers (huge). I highly recommend visiting the Johnson Family Farm. We were not expecting much when we got there, but left knowing we would return. I hope this helps.

Let me tell you, this is the place you want to go if you're looking to outfit your place with fall decor, some crazy jack-o-lanterns, or are like me and just like taking pictures of colorful and/or weirdly shaped gourds. Their selection of pumpkins comes in all shapes and sizes, some of which you'd be hard pressed to even lift. You can purchase from their selection of things they've already picked, or venture into their pumpkin patch and lop off a few pumpkins yourself. You're sure to find whatever you are looking for here, as well as a selection of farm fresh vegetables, and all kinds of fruit and veggies preserves for sale. Another worthy stop while you're in the Asheville and Hendersonville area!

You must stop by to get their fruits, slushies, and hand pies in season. Spring: Strawberries, strawberry slushies, and strawberry hand pies. Summer: Peaches, peach slushies, and peach hand pies. The peach slushies taste like you are drinking a frozen form of a peach, and my favorite of the three! Fall: Apples, apple slushies, and apple hand pies. They have other fruits and veggies, but those are the main ones to stop for. They also have several jams and jellies, ice cream, and a few other baked goods. They are always friendly, too! It was $20 to purchase a 1 peck bag to fill on our own. I believe you can have up to 5 people per bag but today it was just me and my kids. What stood out about this orchard is that 99% of the apples I picked from the tree were perfect! Very very few apples with blemishes, damages, holes etc. there were also very few apples littering the ground so we didn't have to worry about too many bees or bugs around us like we have had to do at other places. The apples taste fantastic! The playground was a hit with my 2 and 4 year old. Big shout out for having a huge tunnel that the kids can run there instead of crawl! Delicious bites include apple cider donuts, apple cider slushes, and ice cream. All were 10/10. Worth the 2 hour drive for us.
