Just a regular grocery with long lines. When I found my 150 ml of "Anna" water that tasted like…read moreDasani or Aquafina, I was so relieved. It's the one with the baby in the circle if you happen to be a water snob like me.
It's a challenge to find decent tasting bottled water throughout Italy. So much of the bottled water tastes odd, even if the tap water is fine to drink. I was told by a reliable American that the best water thus far had been in Firenze, and the worst was in Venezia.
At any rate, it's better than SoCal water which I won't touch. I can't help it that I was always spoiled with good water my whole life!
Anyway, they had tons of my water here, all for--get this--30 cents for a big bottle. No wonder the Italians complain about the prices of our drinks! That's how they should be priced.
I didn't even get a chance to check out the wine and cheese but I was happy.
The self serve check out was faster than SoCal, too which is why this has to be a four!
