I'm so glad I did! When I walked in, it was pretty quiet, and I was immediately greeted very warmly. The owner was there and shared with me that they have actually been in the area for several years. The shop itself is a really nice little bakery with so many different sweets and desserts to choose from. I was surprised to also see that they offer lunch items like sandwiches, including chicken salad, along with a few other savory options. Of course, I came for something sweet! They had cookies, brownies, cupcakes, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and so many other desserts, but I decided to try the mini sweet potato pie. It was EXCELLENT! What stood out to me the most was the texture of the sweet potato filling. It was incredibly smooth, creamy, and had such a delicious flavor. That little pie was so good, and it definitely made me want to come back and try more of their desserts. I love finding local places like this, especially ones that have been right in the community and somehow slipped under my radar.
