I went with the prime rib and got exactly the cut I asked Sarah to describe to the chef and it was done to a perfect medium rare. For my side, I chose the shrimp bisque and had I known how great that was going to be, I'd have skipped the steak and just ordered a bottomless bowl of the bisque ... YES, it was that good!!! But, let's talk about the elephant in the room ... every soul in the house was shouting over the other dozen people at their respective tables... the noise level on a Saturday during the evening rush made me wish I had known to bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones. My SO had the walleye filet and shrimp bisque. She said the bisque was the star of the show. The view over the lake makes this a special place. However, since the price gouging accurately describes 95% of all gas stations and convenience stores in America, I'll keep my review a 5/5 because of the great people I've come to know since doing business with this store. Ever since I moved to Minnesota in 10/2023 this Casey's was easily the closest store for me to get to by foot, which was important for me without a vehicle to get around town. Before I was able to properly familiarize myself with the rest of the Grand Rapids Township, I essentially only shopped here and that went on for the first 6-8 weeks of living here until I moved to a different housing location. I say that to make it clear I have an inordinately high number of customer experiences eating and shopping at this Casey's and interacting with the various staff, and I feel quite positive about my many experiences.
