The amount of time I spent on the phone following up after not getting responses was much more than it should have been. I also was verbally told that after I put my banking information in and signed the forms everything would be paid for by Scofield, and I wouldn't need to do anything. Fast forward to three months later and I get a bill in the mail saying I hadn't paid my state's income tax. Now I have to pay that along with three month's of interest, all because there was a miscommunication. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do...not even pay the interest, and they didn't own up to making a mistake. We've had an interesting experience working with this firm over the past few years. This year--our third year using their services--we were charged nearly double what we paid the previous year.
