This parade is one of the 5 day celebrations. There is a fees to get in the parade route. It is not free. To get to Torres Vedras need transportation, either by tour bus or dry yourself. Using public transportation is a challenge. I like this parade because it get to celebration at 11:00 pm. It is party on the street. By 9:00 pm most hot food is a bit sold out. But the dessert such as different churros is available. The parade entrance free after 7:00 pm. By them most flow are done. Only the hardcore festive people remain. We enjoy our time here. We enjoy our time here and enjoy most of the street food.

Today major theme is the mythology and mystery parade. Original set for 15 float with dancers. But…read moreit is a lot more than that. The Carnival is the shore Tuesday extravaganza show for the final day. This may be shock to you because it is the cultural of the area from baby to older generations that everyone are participating. The costume is well designed and series. Dance movement was in one synchronizing act. It is well organized. I like costumes with multiple color, same shoe, same color for the entire team. The leader is beautiful dress. The float has a theme for each team. Parking is not easy. But need to find very hard. We were lucky to find one. Mainly this parade is at aria Frederico Tarre and N8. The best spot is at the flow turn to Rua Barbosa de Resende and N8. The slope of the street allow you to look at the entire team.

We were beguiled by the monk's incantations, then rocked out when they pivoted to popular music. We enjoyed the function hall, the staff was amazing, they brought the food out quickly, no one ever had an empty glass, and the venue, overall, was an A+. The only criticism one might have is the outside does not match the inside. Outside of the venue looked industrial, purposeful, and not polished. But, who cares! Look at my pictures of how Adega Regional de Colares is on the inside, because, as we all know, it's what's inside that counts.

We only spent about ten minutes at Adega Regional de Colares but it was worth stopping. This is a…read morebig warehouse where wine casks of various sizes are stored to age wine. Historically, this was the aging building of a single winery. Now, different vineyards rent space for their casks to age. As the picture shows, it is quite picturesque. We were told they have a banquet room which is used for weddings and other large parties. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the room but were told it was beautiful. In fact, our guide had wanted to have his wedding banquet there recently, but his budget didn't quite allow it. They also do tastings but we didn't partake this time around. They also have a nice selection of wines for sale that were aged there.
