Ah yes - the Royal Cheese!…read more
Not actually a restaurant specializing in hamburgers but a clothing boutique focused on upscale street-style fashion, I got to know this store pretty well during my 4-day stay in Paris. You see, I stayed in an apartment located directly above the shop. This meant I was always coming and going, passing through and sharing a private door with the well-mannered gentlemen working at the Royal Cheese.
Because we shared far too many hellos to still be strangers, I considered it my duty to check out the boutique's wares. A well-curated selection of skinny jeans and soft t-shirts, the style here is definitely a carefully-plotted combination of 'I'm-not-trying-too-hard' garments and the accessories that pull the look together: cognac-hued leather satchels, vintage-look belts and sharp shoes.
It's a bit pricey, but we all know the tousled, 'just got out of bed' look doesn't just happen; it's orchestrated with precision.
