Rustic decor with lots of wood from floor to table as you would expect in a Thai setting. It was not busy when we arrived and was seated right away. We ordered the crispy pork and papaya salad. The crispy pork was good but didn't think anything exceptional. The papaya salad was crunch and spicy, just the way we like it. You can order it mild if you don't like spicy. Pad Thai is one of the signature dish and a must order. When served, egg is covering the noodles and they mix it for you. True Thai flavor. Delicious and highlight of our meal. We also ordered the stir fried Kangkong (morning glory), another favorite. Rice need to be ordered separately. Only curry dish comes with rice on the side. Staff was very attentive and take their time in answering questions or responding to our asks. Definitely going back again to try their other dishes! :-)

Exceptional Thai food in the middle of Makati City!…read more I came here for dinner with my parents and I loved this place. When we walked in, the delightful aroma of the cuisine piqued our appetites (but didn't overwhelm). The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting and beautiful. We ordered three dishes to share (Green Chicken Curry, Crispy Pork with Stir-Fried Kale, Rice Noodles in Thai Gravy). Everything was so mouth-watering, flavorful, aromatic and well made. You can request different spice levels (we went mild since my parents have an aversion to spice, but I can see the dishes getting pretty hot, if that's your thing.) For dessert, we shared a Mango Sticky Rice Sundae and it was so so so good. The mango was sweet and fresh, the sticky rice was warm and perfectly sticky, and the ice cream was tasty and creamy. Everything came together so well-- I could've inhaled the whole sundae myself! The server was friendly and helpful, guiding us and answering our questions about portion size, spice level, and recommendations. Definitely highly recommend Azuthai--I'm going to have cravings from this place even after I leave Manila!

But, let's say you're on a tight budget...and you only have one hundred pesos. What's the wisest, healthiest, most guilt-free thing you can get at this place? Do yourself a favor and head to this Thai food stall, Moo Moo Thai. For only Php 55, you can get a huge, delicious fresh Thai spring roll with all the works! Stuffed with vermicelli, fresh basil, cilantro, shredded veggies, and flavorful garlicky peanut sauce drizzled on top. This humble, food court spring roll is, in my opinion, miles ahead of some Thai restaurants' subpar versions. Also, you're better off purchasing this than the traditional 'lumpiang sariwa' being sold for roughly the same price in the vicinity as well, which really pales in comparison, freshness-wise. Also, I'm a sucker for anything with lemongrass, and any Thai meal in my book is incomplete without a refreshing glass of lemongrass tea, which they also happen to serve! It's a tad bit too sweet, but really complements the spring roll well.
