I have always wanted orthodontics since I was young, but my parents could not afford them for me. Finally in my late 20s, I could afford my own and started my orthodontic journey in 12/2020. I was getting multiple consults from different orthodontists and felt Dr. Amer gave me the best consult, price, and his staff was nice and professional! Fortunately, my teeth were not terrible to begin with. However, I mainly disliked my upper 4 incisors as they were not well aligned/straight and they would be very apparent/distasteful in certain angles on photos. I got the Invisalign 7 series and here are the before/after photos around mid 3/2021 (don't mind my coffee stains). I'm in the refinement stage and am looking forward to the end of my final results. Dr. Amer is a true professional I had a permanent retainer from braces that were placed about 25 years ago. One of the bonds broke when chewing food and I was extremely concerned that I was going to have to have major and expensive work done to resolve the issue. The thing I liked best is that during the initial consult, he provides a complimentary pano X Ray, so that he is able to do a full and complete analysis of what needs to be done. Our two oldest children had their braces with Dr. Amer and he was wonderful. When we had a visiting 11 year old from out of state and one of her braces popped off, we called Dr. Amer's office and they were able to easily fit us in to get that brace fixed. I came prepared to pay out-of-pocket or submit through insurance but Dr. Amer fixed her broken brace, adjusted her top wire and gave her some pointers on keeping her braces sparkly clean and did it with a smile (no charge). Dr. Amer is an outstanding orthodontist. He is knowledgeable, patient, and well trusted. He has taken care of my three kids' braces with excellent results. My older kids had the Damon braces while my youngest daughter had Invisalign. When my daughter needed some adjustments at the end of her Invisalign treatment, Dr. Amer made some phone calls to the company and was able to get her extra retainers at no charge! Happy to recommend Dr. Amer! My son had braces put on by Dr. Gonzalez and pieces kept coming off, once before we left the doctor's office and a couple times on the ride home. Absolutely no problems thus far with Dr. Amer, and we are two months in for upper braces and one week into lower brace. To be fair, it is a different kind of brace, but I can't say enough good about Dr. Amer--who I discovered one morning at 7 am when a wire from previous braces broke and Dr. Amer removed it (NO CHARGE) because previous doctor was out of town.
