Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I've always referred to them as "big lots, on steroids." The place is huge! They primarily sell manufacturers extras and overstock, and maybe the previous models of things. But, everything is good. Groceries, snacks, clothes, toys, home, and garden, housewares, kitchenware, tools, carpeting even furniture. If you see what you like, buy a little bit extra, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The stock always rotates. That's what makes it fun. It's like a giant treasure hunt. Also, if you sign up for a free "Ollie's army" membership, they will send you information on discounts that you can get off of their already great prices. I am a fan. But Ollie's, met me there with their ceramic rectangular planting boxes at a fraction of the cost of what Home D.+Lowe's charge. The space is huge. And like their website states, Ollie's is the biggest "retailer of closeout merchandise & excess inventory". Aisles are also filled with no-frills brands. Some products are better than others so do your research while you're here and read. For instance, I saw this unknown sheet set brand and when I noticed the polyester fabric label, I put it back quick. From canned goods, toiletries, garden supplies, outdoor, books, toys, etc, etc, etc, etc, you can rack up. Cheap shopping, that's all it is and I like it- depends what I'm getting. Service was pleasant and the cashier helped me sign up for their loyalty program so I can accrue points and discounts for the future.

Organization is a suggestion here, a rough guess that what you think something qualifies as is also what the floor setters of OSJB think that item qualifies as. I came in looking for nothing. I drive by the location easily 3 times a week and finally had some quiet down time to just go browse. That's really the only way to do this unless your shopping list is also vague. There was a lot of shelf stable food items including snacks, coffee, cereal, candy, and more. I didn't recognize too many of the coffee brands but still opted to give Papa Nicholas' hazelnut creme a try. In general I didn't recognize a lot of brand names, so it kinda felt like the discount store for the dollar store discards. Pricing however didn't always reflected that. The household items is definitely where organization got odd; "domestics" was the sign hanging overhead that area and it covered everything from large rugs to women's thongs. Everything! Shoes, office supplies, clothing, toys, planters, fans, etc. Even just a touch more subdivision would go a long way! Also, specifically, the shoes were nasty - some of them had literal mold growing on them, others had clear signs of wear on the sole. These must've been returns then sold off, and it was incredibly off-putting. Ultimately I also ended up finding a bookish spooky season blanket for $10, some cozy wool socks for $4, a pack of chapsticks for $6, and the bag of coffee for $8. The blanket and the socks felt like a steals whereas the chapsticks felt like there weren't any savings, and the coffee was even properly labeled so I ended up being duped by that, but still opting to get it since it was only a few dollars difference. I do wish I could give half stars because this does feel more in line with 2.5 than 3 stars, but I can see why people come back for the price points, especially something that might not get a lot of life out of it like party decor or kids clothing.

I was on a river cruise so was dressed in full vacation sports attire, including a cap. I almost didn't go inside because of the way I was dressed, but I am SO glad that I did. The sales girl (can't remember her name) was so welcoming and could not have been any nicer. She was extremely helpful with trying on the dress and pinning for alterations. I was thrilled to find this gem of a store and this dress, which is for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. It arrived to me in Georgia within two weeks. Thank you for helping me find the perfect dress!
