When I tried to get it appealed, they denied it stating that I didn't specify my situation properly from the 6 scenarios that they allow appeals. I specified that it was a verifiable institutional error by CSN and I provided proof that I was never supposed to be in that class. Their staff and administration is not transparent at all and they lack the motivation to do their jobs properly and put students like myself into these types of situations... Do NOT enroll here...

With that being said, from what I understand, some of your doctor or nurse practitioner visits may include a student that shadows the professional. The nurse practitioner that I saw, I got the OK because my girlfriend has been coming her for a couple years. So I don't know who here is or is not accepting new patients at this time. I can tell you that I got the most thorough initial evaluation with all my questions answered, and no rush at all, which is an oddity in today's medical world. The facility itself in the areas that I saw were very clean and everybody was extremely friendly. I truly look forward to our next visit.

The day prior to the appointment, I received a confirmation call requesting that I arrive 30 minutes early for my 8am appointment. Unfortunately, I already had a meeting scheduled from 6:30am - 7:30am so I could not do this. I arrived for my appointment at 7:55am. I am already an established patient of the clinic and my insurance had not changed, so there was no need for me to fill out forms or do any insurance updates. I was turned away from my appointment that I had arrived ON TIME for, because I didn't arrive 30 minutes early, after waiting to be seen for 3 weeks, with an issue involving pain. I even explained to the front desk that I AM A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER who owns/runs my own primary care practice and I had blocked off time on my schedule specifically for this appointment, and thus, did not have any time available within the next 3 weeks to reschedule because I have my own patients to care for. Still- no exceptions, or accommodations were made. As a business owner AND a medical clinic owner- I am foremost to understand why certain policies and procedures are set in place for an office to function smoothly. HOWEVER- I also know when to be flexible, accommodating, and when I can make exceptions from time to time. Given the fact that the office staff failed to clarify at the time the appointment was book that I was expected to arrive 30 minutes early, AND the fact that I had already waited 3 weeks for the appointment AND the fact that I am in pain... I feel that it would have been reasonable to make an exception to the rule. I will not be returning to Touro University for care, nor referring any of my primary care patients here if this is how patients are handled. I'd rather pay out of pocket and go somewhere that I am treated, firstly, as a human- and then a "customer".

Roseman University does everything in their power to set you up for success. The university guides the student through their program with the help from the faculty, current students, and alumni. By utilizing all three resources, Roseman University manages to adapt and continually grow. The faculty go out of their way to make sure they are available for the students. Many of the faculty stay way past office hours to answer questions during the blocks they teach. Also, the faculty become your mentors throughout the program. They are there to answer any question, and help direct you for what comes after Roseman. I am consistently in contact with my mentor. Having a mentor is hands down my favorite part of Roseman University. Roseman University encourages the students to learn for each other. From day one, Roseman gathers the individual strengths of each student to make well rounded teams. The teams do not compete against each other. The teams are there to help teach and guide each other. Plus, who doesn't like an automatic built-in study group? You will also have opportunity to work side by side with some of the alumni during your rotations. Many alumni still live and work in Las Vegas. They will know exactly what you are going through, and will offer you great advice. Overall, if you are looking for a great university to continue your path in Pharmacy....I can't think of many better than Roseman University.

When issues come up, the blame is placed on the student for "not following up," rather than advisors taking accountability for the lack of communication and guidance. College is already a major investment of time and money, and students should feel like their school wants them to succeed. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. After Nicole spent about an hour going over everything, she brought in the dentist. They had another approach and said we could save most of the teeth and got me a treatment plan! I went yesterday for the first appt which was a deep cleaning. I was greeted by another girl(I didn't get her name) and she was equally friendly and helpful and right when she checked me in she said, "as a Thank You we are giving new patients $250 off) No catch just $250 for being a patient! So my deep cleaning was free! Nicole took me back and again spent a good amount of time taking care of me. She was very informative as she cleaned my teeth making sure to take care of the ones that have issues. She also suggested I get an appt with the implant specialist next week before we started the treatment just to make sure of my treatment plan, so that is next. Their estimate is probably around $12k! $7k less than the cheapest estimate before and saving my teeth! I can't stress enough how amazing this place has been. As someone who has spent a lot of time in dentists offices, this one is top notch. Even if you have a dentist, I'd check them out. Professional dentists but it's cheaper because they are a non profit teaching school. Everything is state of the art, clean and professional. Ask for Nicole! She has been great!
