I called Danny Nabedrick, and he gave me the runaround and said the camps were cancelled. He never even bothered to tell families the camps were cancelled and would not issue a refund. I continued to call, text, and email him. Crickets. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. Twin Cities Tennis somehow lied in their response, and the dispute didn't go through. At that point, I assumed they were bankrupt or out of business and just moved on. Fast forward to this week... They're texting me about signing up for this year's camp, as if nothing happened. I looked up the camps, and some of them are being held at schools that don't even have tennis courts.

I can't find any information online to confirm this since they don't have a website, but that's my impression as a first-timer. There are five courts and they are all in great shape, even though the building, lobby and facilities are very dated. The lobby has some seating, refreshments and whatnot. No-frills and it is very, very hot on the courts. If I lived closer, I might consider looking into a membership here for the wintertime. All-access is pretty awesome.

There are some rare members that, for various reasons, have the privilege of having keys to the club, which is what Annie D. noticed in her 6/25/12 review. This is the oldest indoor tennis club in the twin cities, so you have to be a little understanding that the facility, by modern standards, is fairly basic. I practically grew up on these courts decades ago, so it will always have a place in my heart. This club is about value. It is very inexpensive, both in terms of the annual membership fee, as well as the hourly court fees. The courts have some very slight dead spots here and there (a lot of people don't even know about them), and, depending on the weather conditions, a couple times per year there is condensation that will drip from the ceiling and form small puddles that need to be wiped here and there. Those are facts. Given its age, the place is in pretty good shape. It's not Lifetime Fitness, but the members are pretty happy, and there is a long wait list to join.

It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood and completely tucked away so that you'd never really know it was here unless Google Maps told you. The building doesn't look like much, but the facilities seem updated and everything was very nice. The check-in was easy, prices comparable to other Lifetime locations and the courts were in perfect condition. The court lines looked like they had just been painted the day before. Best part? Parking is easy (unlike the nightmare of EVERY other Lifetime location). I don't know that I'll be back here regularly since I usually play outside or at Baseline, but it's good to know this place exists as an alternative to the indoor courts at the SLP Lifetime (where the aforementioned parking is extra nightmarish). It's only about five minutes further away from Minneapolis, but well worth the effort.

They have everything I need. *Parking is a breeze *Tennis courts, although I don't use them, seem well staffed and clean The Not-so Good: *Could not find anyone to answer simple technique questions on equipment which I really needed (mild back issue)- this is a serious draw back, and why I'm not sure I'll be a member again (love the location though).Tennis is their specialty. *Saturday hours are a bit shorter, but no major complaints This is a fantastic facility; just wish they offered a little bit more to justify the upgrade in membership for a non-tennis player. Ken (coach) was able to quickly identify my level of play, my strengths and several weaknesses that were impacting my game. If I am able to focus on the drills and make improvement's in the areas we worked on, it's certainly going to have a positive impact on my game. My plan is to get additional lessons before heading to Mesa AZ for league play in the East Valley Senior Tennis Association. It's actually fun to get Quality coaching.

Upstairs, there is a waiting area with chairs and bar style seating overlooking the courts so you can watch or work while you wait.
