Hello, I would love to start off by saying I too did not read the reviews before purchasing. Now that I have been extremely unsatisfied I have come to write a review and come to find out that multiple customers have experienced what I am experiencing. They have extremely bad customer service. I ordered something beginning of December they told me it was back ordered TWICE. When I asked them if they can expedite once it comes in they said I need to pay although it took out my money already? Terrible company. Zero communication. 31 days and can't get a single response as to why my order has not shipped.

I'd love to give this place a better review but unfortunately due to lack of customer service, communication and blatant lies that's impossible. The one positive I can say is their advertised prices are very competitive, if they in fact have the item they claim to have in stock I ordered a glove Friday morning, my account was charged and I got a confirmation email saying a tracking number would follow shortly after. On Monday when I hadn't received the tracking information I called to make sure everything was on track as my son started baseball the following week. They assured me everything was good, my glove was being shipped from the manufacturer and sometimes it takes them a day or two to relay that information and it would be over that day. I asked them to call Nokona, the manufacturer to make sure and they said that wasn't needed and my glove was on it's way. Tuesday morning I checked my email and still hadn't received a tracking number. I called again and got the same story. Gloves on the way and they would send the tracking info when it came in, very short, rude, indignant and they actually seemed annoyed with me. Wednesday morning they sent me an email saying they were mistaken, the glove isn't in stock and on back order for 4 weeks. When I asked why they couldn't inform me of of this Monday or Tuesday when I called they had no answer. The customer service Rep tried to show me an email from Nokona informing them the glove was out of stock, the best part was the email was dated from Tuesday night at 5 pm. Clearly they hadn't touched base with them on Friday morning when I originally placed my order, Or Monday when I called in the first time and probably didn't reach out until my second call when I was basically demanding a shipping number. In short this company straight up lied to me in regards to my order being shipped, and it appears I'm not the first to have this problem with this company. They told me one thing and did another. They over promised and under delivered and in the end all they could say was sorry and offer no justification as to why they didn't just check with Nokona on Monday as I had originally requested. I was also pretty upset that each time I called I was being brushed off as a crazy person and was told the glove was on the way when in fact the glove was never even in stock. If they had told me this from the get go it wouldn't be an issue but it took them 6 days and three business days to even let me know even thigh I had been in touch with them from the original purchase date to ensure it would arrive by the following Friday, which on Friday they assured me it would. I ended up buying a glove at justballgloves.com they sent a confirmation within 5 minutes of my order and a tracking number within 3 hours. Very quick and prompt service, and accurate and honest as well! What a shocker baseballbargains.com, a New York based company with ZERO customer service and no moral compass. Although the prices may be tempting I'd advise anyone looking for baseball gear to look elsewhere for more honest and prompt service. Unless of course you enjoy ordering things and being told it's on its way when they don't even have any in stock and it takes almost a week to inform you of the truth that your order was imaginary and not coming at all unless you want to wait a month or so read more

Not much of a bargain for a store with the name bargain in it. Went in for a baseball glove for my son. Happy with the glove but was not happy with the cost. Was supposed to get a 15% discoint for being on a team which we did but being charged $25 Just to steam the glove was a little much and i was not informed until I had to ask why my check was high. In the end The discount quickly went away after steaming fee. The salesman was fine to deal with but in the future inform your customers of prices. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM!!! Ordered 3 items online. Received my package with all incorrect items. Tried to contact store through phone messages and emails, received no response. After a month I had to go through my credit card company before they responded. Told me to return items and I would get my correct purchase. They told me they would refund my shipping costs. Cost me $25 for return shipping...still haven't seen that money. Again no response, MasterCard can't do anything because shipping issue has nothing to do with them. Non-existent customer service. Ordered a new easton ghost x usa bat and used them because I thought they had in stock. The day after ordering I got email stating it was backordered and gave me the date it would ship from Easton. Bat was shipped from easton the date I was told and I received timely notice of the tracking number saying it was shipped. Got the bat quicker than other sites have listed having them in stock. The only improvement I would suggest is having your site letting you know if something is not in stock. Also thought I was supposed to get free shipping but wasn't that worried about it because I was able to use a 25 dollar off coupon. Would recommend using them and will use again in the future read more

Do not buy here. worst customer service. I placed an order for a baseball bat on Feb 13 for my son's birthday gift. I called them to check the order status on Feb 14 (because no email from them) and they said it will ship end of the week (Feb 16). On Feb 15, I got an email from them saying that it will ship early this week. I spoke with them today again (Feb 20) they said the bat will arrive from their other warehouse on Thursday and it will ship after that... and when I mentioned that you said you will ship it early this week, the guy said "I don't know who you spoke with".. OMG.. I can't trust this guy anymore. This is for my son's birthday gift but I should cancel it... The worst worst baseball shop. Do not buy here. read more

I foolishly did not read the reviews before ordering from this place. Hopefully you will read the reviews and not order from here. Horrible customer service, poor communication, they take forever to ship. I purchased catchers gear and it took so long that I placed another order from a different company and filed a fraud claim with my bank since I never received it and could not get an answer from them. The order from the other company arrived within days and then the original order from these frauds finaslly arrived so I sent it back, it cost me $32 to mail it back so at this point I've spent $167 including shipping the gear back and now they won't give my money back. I placed an order for baseball pants on 3/23/13. There was no indication that these were back ordered and the shipping charge was a hefty $11.95, but since I needed them, felt it was worth it. As of 4/3/13 I still have not received the pants, and when I called was advised that these were back ordered and were just being shipped and would take 4 days to arrive. This is very poor customer service as they should have notified me of the back order status and the anticipated wait for product. I will not be ordering from them again. read more

Do not buy online from these people. I ordered two softball gloves for my daughters and only received one. Both items were shown to be in stock when I ordered them. When I contacted the company, the representative said one glove was discontinued and I would not be receiving the other glove. He also stated that I should have received an invoice via email.( 5 days after the order was placed). The invoice did show one item to be discontinued, but it also stated the gloves would be arriving in separate packages. I'm just glad I called to check or I would still be waiting on the other glove. With the shipping cost added for the one glove this turned out to not be a very good deal. And now I still have to get another glove for my other daughter. read more

Horrible Customer Service. Ordered $200 worth of catcher's gear online. No communication from them except the automatically generated email at the time of order. Had to call them 5 days later to get a status update. "You must have missed an email from us telling you the gear was back ordered 3 months". Re-checked EVERY folder including my SPAM folder for "the missing email". Nothing. Asked the very unhelpful voice on the other end, "What can we do?". "Really Nothing" was his response. If you're looking for horrendous customer service with a New York attitude...this is the place to shop. Otherwise...stay away. read more

On Dec 3, 2015, I placed an order for some catchers gear. I received an order confirmation email on Dec 3, but nothing after that. On Dec 9 I contacted a BB.com customer service rep who told me there was some problem with my credit card. I had not received any email or phone call from BB.com, but their CS rep said they had tried to contact me regarding this problem. My email and my cell phone call log showed no contact from BB.com. On Dec 9 I cleared their problem with my credit card, and they said "we have the order here and it will ship tomorrow (Dec 10)". Even though my credit card was charged on Dec 9, the order did not ship on Dec 10. I received shipping confirmation on Dec 18, but no tracking number. I called again on Dec 21 and they sent me the invoice again, but this time it had a UPS tracking number. I logged into UPS and found they had sent it somewhere in Minnesota, not to me in California. I called them back and they said they would look into it and call me right back. I waited 5 hours but no call came, so I called them back. I was told their system got screwed up somehow and they couldn't deliver the gear until February. I would not recommend anyone order from them. They may have a brick and mortar store, and that may be useful, but internet purchases should be avoided.. read more
