Today it is an office complex that retained the heft of the old steel/brick structures and added wood and stone floors, exposed beams and amazing brass fixture bathrooms. It has been my good fortune to have professional friends (lawyer and psychologist) with space there, as well as the availability of the two story glass framed lobby for social events. It is highly functional while retaining a comforting human scale. At $20 per square foot net/net/net it is a reasonable lease for a successful business or a new venture with decent cash flow. If they only put a coffee house on the first floor, it would be a perfect hang out day and night.

I think from searching before, the closest coworking spots would be in Philly or one or two around Rutgers. Though the latter ones haven't been close to Tigerlabs in offerings. Offerings like plenty of open space, desks, 3 conference rooms, a ping pong table, those hover board things :P, quiet/noise proof spaces, small lockers. They are constantly making upgrades and coming up with new offerings to foster community and professional growth. The space itself is beautifully designed for a peaceful, cozy, and inspiring environment. My clients frequently make mention of how nice it is and I can tell it has an impact on their experience. Logistically, I have a hybrid virtual and in-person practice and paying for real estate would be my biggest overhead cost. I didn't want to sign a rental agreement that wouldn't fit my situation or have the flexibility that I need. It's also a fantastic option for folks who are just starting their practice or who have a part time practice. At Be Well, I can increase or decrease the amount of time I use, and it isn't restricted to certain days of the week if my or my clients' schedules change. We had a Glow in the dark party which included a lot of set up. They gave us the opportunity to come in not only the day before, but the day of, earlier than the alloted time we had. We moved a good amount of furniture to fit our vision and they had no problem with it. The one woman (Sorry I forget your name) was so helpful to the point where when we couldn't figure out the sound system with our android ( yes I know) she came back to help. The place has an abundance of outlets which was great since we had a bunch of black lights. We had the 360° photo booth which we were allowed to rent for as long as we wanted. The woman who ran it was very kind and the kids loved it. We also had enough room for another photo booth. At the end of the night, the wonderful woman came back and helped us clean some and told us to just worry about the bigger things and to leave the smaller things for her and her team to clean. I've already recommended this place to another friend and I'd definitely give this company more business when I need to throw another party.
