They ignored my NEWBORN child when she threw up on herself so often she had to have 2 medicated creams to help with the infection it caused on her ears. When brought up to the daycare director Stephanie- SHE DID NOTHING. Instead my kids were asked to leave the daycare facility. That teacher is still in the infant room! 2. They never called me when my children were sick - EVER - instead I came to pick my child up and she was naked in the corner of the room covered in vomit crying - they gave her milk knowing she was allergic. When asked they denied but told the other co workers and was eventually told to me that my child was given milk. When brought up to the director Stephanie- SHE DID NOTHING! 3. The director kept double charging my daycare fees and said that wasn't being paid properly. And I had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund. 4. I walked in to the class to drop my kids and watched big kids in the infant room pulling infants hair out and pelting METAL water bottles at other kids heads (and the little girl was begging them to stop crying on the floor screaming) and again the teacher did NOTHING and let them beat her up- and said oh they're okay. I HAVE SO MANY HORROR STORIES FROM THAT PLACE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE!!! Literally anywhere else works better than here!

The outside of the campus is nice. There was no full tour of the campus my only experience was the two gyms. The large gym is nice on the inside but the bleachers really need to be replaced. The majority were cracked and since it was not crowded there were a few places to sit that wasn't cracked. I must say there are several entrances but they only had the top entrance open...I'm thinking to ensure payment. The bad thing is if there are older ppl in attendance (such as my grandma) then that would have been a problem (she didn't come to that particular game). Anyway, for some reason we always got booked to play in the auxiliary gym and it's always hot. My recommendation is to wear tank tops and shorts due to the lack of air conditioning. The size of the gym was just right to yell at the players abs the referees (who of course cheated). Overall, three stars still stand

Giles the principle barely even spoke to my mom, and his punishments are more inconsistent than the weather in georgia. I've never had prior record and the items i had called for a 10 day suspension and i got a year. I would just like to add the teachers do not care what so ever on if you are struggling or not, they just make sure they don't look bad, the school is filthy & the food has bugs. Any parent looking to find a perfect highschool for their child i suggest keep looking else where because even if you're kid is just in the bathroom, if another kid is vaping, they'll get in trouble too!

The education Mr Barrera provides to his students is comparable to the education I received in an International Private school, he brought history to life right from his world literature class and changed our minds in the most positive ways with open ended class discussions about worldly issues, allowing students from different backgrounds to share their thoughts and ideas in a safe space for us to create a better common understanding of each other. It is teachers like him in Georgia who will positively change and enlighten future generations of adults to come. He teaches his students patience, respect, compassion of others, and understanding by treating them with such. He saw every student as an individual with a future and will do whatever he can to help his students get there, rather it's help with your college essays, write a college recommendation letter, or just be the one person who believes in you when nobody else does.

While my son was there he had a few different teachers in his class for appropriate fill ins, but his main teachers Ms. Madi and Ms. Cindy were absolute angels. All of the teachers were! I never had any worries or complaints and all of the teachers followed our family plan as asked. I always received timely updates on diapering, sleeping, and feeding as well as a lot of photos and videos. I truly appreciate the thorough updates now that I've seen an alternative to be honest - my son's teachers would call to even let me know if he seemed extra irritated or seemed unwell even if he didn't have a fever or obvious signs and i was thankful because i would always go right away to pick him up, even if it wasn't required. Also, Heather, the Asst Director (I think that was her role) was also incredible! She was always such a warm welcome every morning and always made my boy smile! She always informed me of anything going on in the class or with my child (sickness) and also took the time to get to know my sweet babe individually. Needless to say, we love the Sunshine House and would certainly recommend it.
