I cannot get over how fantastic our visit was today!! Daisy, my "dogger," is one of the most…read moreimportant aspects of my life. She is a very shy and anxious girl and has ALWAYS hated going to the vet. By happenstance we had to find a new one and decided to go with City Way. FRIENDS!! From the moment we walked in, we were treated with care and kindness. They didn't force Daisy to do anything (I'm used to them holding her down as she looks at me, terrified) and gave her EXCELLENT care!! They had fantastic ideas and suggestions. They gave us plenty of time and made sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I could seriously cry tears of joy writing this. It feels good when others care for your loved one like you do. I am so happy that we made the switch!!!

I have been bringing my dog shelby here for a couple of years. Nice place. Of course with all of…read moretheir upsales and high prices, it should be. Fast forward to yesterday, and my poor dog dislocated her hip. My wife called city way at 2pm, and they were unable to see her at any of their six lications. Unfortunate, but understandable. I take my dog to the clinic, they pop her leg back into socket and put a tape sling to immobilize it. Fast forward to this morning and she has already worked the sling off. We give city way a call and they state they don't do ortho. Weird, but okay. My wife calls with advice from the vet for shelbys pain meds and giving her benedryl. It is now 4 hours later and they still haven't gotten back with us. I could not recommend them less.

5 stars for everything about this place. I could not…read morehave been more satisfied about this urgent care animal clinic. I left feeling like my dog and I were treated with the best care at a fair price. The doctor, the techs, and staff were all so wonderful and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We brought our cat to Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care after she may have swallowed a shoelace. We…read morespecifically asked if an X-ray should be done, but were advised against it and sent home to "monitor" her instead. Unfortunately, she had swallowed the shoelace. A few days later, another clinic performed imaging that immediately confirmed the ingestion and led to emergency surgery. When I contacted Animal Urgent Care to discuss what happened and request reimbursement, the veterinarian refused to compensate us and insisted the other clinic was in the wrong. He claimed the shoelace wouldn't have shown up on an X-ray and defended the decision not to perform imaging, even though the second vet identified the problem right away and confirmed it was visible. What's most disappointing is not just the initial misjudgment, but the refusal to take accountability afterward. We were only trying to make sure our pet was safe, not avoid costs, and instead ended up with unnecessary suffering, over $1,500 in added expenses(not including the surgery cost), and a surgery that could have been avoided. I would strongly caution others to seek care elsewhere if they want thorough, responsible, and compassionate treatment.
