When I initially spoke with Greg Lomori he had indicated I qualified for tax settlement but never did I imagine that he could negotiate my balance down to $800. Resolve Tax settled my tax debt for roughly 1.2% of the total owed. This is truly unbelievable. Not only was the settlement beyond what I expected but the service offered by Resolve Tax is top notch. I cannot find 1 fault with any of the staff that I was assigned to and worked with. Everyone has always been helpful and I have never had any communication issues. When I first spoke with Mr. Lomori, I knew that I had found the right company to represent me. I saw him on Monday and the first thing he said to me was, "What was the worst thing that happened to you in 2025 and what was the best thing that happened to you in 2025?" He's going through all my forms and documents and I'm telling him about my life. Then he says, "You never sent back the questionnaire from the Christmas card I sent you." He and his family send Christmas cards every year but this year they included a couple of pre-stamped cards with the question "What is your favorite holiday memory"... something like that. I meant to fill one out but misplaced them. I know he must have sent hundreds if not thousands of these cards so for him to know that I didn't return mine was pretty impressive. He also has a soft spot for feral cats and consistently gets me around the same amount of money back on my tax return every year. He remembers the special little things I qualify for and is meticulous about counting them towards my return. So... if you're looking for a good tax man, check out Scott Bird at Tax-xpress. I cannot recommend Magnum CPA highly enough. I hired them in July 2026 with a fairly overwhelming…read moretax situation--I had five years of back taxes that needed to be filed, and the situation had become increasingly urgent after I experienced a levy on my bank account. From the beginning, I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently the Magnum CPA team gathered my information and moved the process forward. They clearly knew exactly what documentation was needed and kept me on track with kind, helpful reminders about the things I needed to provide or complete. Within approximately three months, they were able to complete five years' worth of tax filings for me. One of the things I appreciate most about Magnum CPA is the team approach. You aren't relying on one CPA working in isolation. There are multiple knowledgeable professionals involved in making sure things are handled properly and nothing falls through the cracks. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence, especially given the complexity of my situation. I also genuinely enjoy working with the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, down-to-earth, and completely nonjudgmental. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does. He can even be a little quirky--which I personally love--because it makes him approachable and human, particularly when you're dealing with something as stressful and intimidating as taxes and financial difficulties. They have also been willing to work with me on payment arrangements, which made getting caught up much more manageable. Beyond simply filing my past returns, Magnum CPA has helped me think differently about my financial future. As a self-employed professional, I learned that I was potentially leaving a significant amount of money on the table by operating the way I had been. They educated me about the potential benefits of incorporating my business and then helped me through the incorporation process so that I could structure my business more effectively going forward. My finances have been rocky, and there is something incredibly valuable about working with a CPA who doesn't make you feel ashamed or judged for where you are. Instead, I came away feeling informed, supported, and much more confident about my financial future. If you're an individual, small-business owner, or self-employed professional--especially if you've fallen behind and feel overwhelmed about where to begin--I would absolutely recommend Magnum CPA. They helped me tackle five years of unfinished taxes in a matter of months and, just as importantly, helped me feel like I finally have a path forward.
