Am I seriously the first person to review Dr. Lehman on Yelp? Well, good ... because I think he…read moreand his staff are terrific so I'm happy to go first. I visited his office on Michigan St. recently (7/3/17) for issues with my vocal stamina as well as recurring headaches. When I arrived, I had come unprepared as I had left information they had requested at home. (Derp.) The wonderful lady at the front desk was very polite with me and made phone calls to gather the information. I can only imagine how annoying people like myself must be when they forget EVERYTHING, however, she never blinked and eye and I was back to see Dr. Lehman in no time. The nurse who assisted with Dr. Lehman was extremely nice as was the doctor. I felt like they both listened to my issues and asked detailed questions. I was also very impressed with the questions about my recurring headaches. I have spoken with two other doctors prior who brushed these weekly episodes off as allergies/sinus issues. Luckily, Dr. Lehman ordered a CT scan of the area the headaches keep affecting so we can see what is going on inside this head of mine. Someone took me seriously! Thank you! Seriously, thank YOU. As with the vocal issues, I was sent to see a vocal therapist in the building during the same appointment who did a scope and found my problem which is a polyp. Again, wow! One appointment and I know why my voice is strained. I love it! He even showed me a few techniques to utilize in order to help this issue as it heals. I have a couple of follow up appointments with Dr. Lehman and his staff in the coming months and I'm happy to go. Yes, HAPPY to go. I felt respected and validated with my concerns with the first visit. I wish all doctors treated their patients so well. I feel like one of the "lucky ones!"

After 3 (technically 2) visits, here we go: The practice…read moreitself (in this location) stands alone as its own building. A decent waiting area~ seemingly small in comparison to the number of patients waiting. The small fish tank full of little "nemos" is a nice touch. I've heard that there is a tv waiting area...good for keeping the young ones occupied while you're waiting to be seen. My first visit with Dr. Rabaja went well. I had about a 20 min wait to be called back, followed by another 10~15 min before somebody came to the exam room to speak with me. He and his assistant (nurse?), displayed very good bed side manners. Both listened to what I had to say on regards to my symptoms. More importantly, I felt like they asked sufficient questions about my symptoms, medical history, background and overall health and concerns. It seems that good notes were taken and the information was communicated among the appropriate staff. After all of that, Dr. Rabaja completed the initial examination. Next step was to the Florida Hospital for a diagnostic exam and then return for a follow up. The exit process was quick and easy. The staff knew what my copays were and had all of the necessary paper work ready. The second visit was just pay my remaining balance on my bill. Yes, I could have mailed it or payed over the phone but I was curious to see what it was like when it wasn't my turn to be seen. Things appeared to be about the same. The waiting area was about half full and the front desk staff was friendly. I was able to pay the bill quickly and be on my way (imagine that). Finally the 3rd stop in, the follow up visit to go over all of the findings. Today the waiting area was super crowded. I had waited an hour to be called back. I was ready to reschedule when I was told that I was next in line. Good thing the wait for Dr. Rabaja to come to the exam room was like than 5 min. Again, everything went smoothly--- good bed side manners. He explained all of the test results and answered all of my questions. The checkout lady was a little short today, she was helpful, but I could tell she was bothered...I think it was because it was her lunch time. No excuse for that but I'm a bit of a monster when the blood glucose level drops so I understand. I think my diagnoses is consistent with results from other medical professionals. Overall I had a good experience here and would come back again to see Dr. Rabaja.

Despite being fully prepared to pay out of pocket, I was informed that the doctor does not see patients without insurance. Policies like this feel unnecessarily restrictive and out of touch, especially in a setting where patient care should come first. While the front desk was courteous, the overall impression is that accessibility is limited unless you fit very specific criteria.I value professionalism, flexibility, and respect for patients' time and needs and unfortunately, this clinic did not reflect that.

I specifically told the person scheduling our appointments that we wanted our consultations with the doctor and she assured me that that is what she scheduled me with yet when my husband and I show up to our appointments we weren't seen by the doctor and we were seen by his PA. I don't understand why an office will schedule you will lie and say that they're scheduling you with a specific doctor that you requested since you're going based off reviews yet they stick you with the PA and don't bother to ask you if that's OK

I had to come here to pick up the hearing aids that were ordered on my first visit after I underwent a very extensive hearing test. I was very comfortable and happy with the care that I received and on this occasion I went through an extensive if quick process of understanding how to use the new devices. I go back again in a couple of weeks to go over how they have been performing And to check the fit of them. The office staff has been very friendly and when I've had to contact them they've done an excellent job. Scheduling appointments was extremely easy and the service has been exemplary.

Of course I tested positive for a number of things. I like this practice because: 1. They are thorough in their examinations and listen to their patients. 2. Aside from being ENT office, they also have a hearing center, voice center and plastic surgery center as well as allergy testing and shots. 3. Their staff are very personable and helpful-always! I've been getting allergy shots here for two years now and the only negative thing I must say is: I really hate that allergy shots are only given during workday hours on Mondays and Tuesdays! I work from 8-4 and they give shots from 8:30 to 4:45. It takes me a good 15-20 to drive here on my lunch hour and if I try to come after work and get stuck in I-4 traffic then I am just out of luck. It would be great if they would pick one of the days to either open early or stay open later- say Monday 7am-4pm or Tuesday 9am-6pm, OR open Monday 7-12, Tuesday 1-6 and add Thursday 7-12-then some of us who work everyday wouldn't have to rush like mad to get here for our shots or be shorted a shot day opportunity whenever a Monday Holiday rolls around. The ridiculously inconvenient allergy shot days/times at this office are why they are only getting 4 stars from me.

I have decided not to do a procedure here because if I had an issue following the procedure, they would not be reachable. Additionally, they are unable to tell you the costs you will be billed from the many specialists they work with. And they said there is no way to find out. Absolutely unacceptable. Socialized Healthcare would be better than this. I recommend avoiding this practice.
