    I do not recommend this practice at all!! Dr. Ashley is actually a nice guy but his reception staff…read moreis rude to say the least. And be prepared to sit in the waiting room for 2 hours before you're called back to the exam room. I have taken my elderly parents there & they are not physically able to sit that long waiting to see the doctor. The staff are less than accommodating......don't waste your time here because your time is obviously not valuable. I never leave bad reviews & usually try to handle the problem internally. But when I tried to talk to someone about our experience the person I spoke with could care less & basically blew me off. I have tried taking my parents on several occasions hoping our experience would change but to no avail. We literally wait for 2 hours before being called back....simply ridiculous!

    So it has now been exactly one week since I visited this place. I still do not have my results,…read morenobody has called me back and they refused to answer my calls. I called them last Thursday to get my results. I was put on hold for long periods of time. Mind you I was at work on my break. I got tired of holding and would hang up. When I called they said they were busy and had lots of patients. I spoke to the business office manager and she said she would get my chart. When she got back on the phone she told me what the chart said but that she didn't know what the results meant and the doctor or his nurse would call me back. Nobody did of course. So at this point I'm done playing phone tag with these people. I am filing a complaint with my insurance and the Alabama medical board. I noticed a lot of seniors go here and it makes me wonder if they treat them the way I was treated. When they come in with bladder infections do they just send them away and tell them to take over the counter pain meds? Do they even call them with the results of labs? Lastly I had to break down go to the ER for my UTI. Within an hour they diagnosed me with a UTI, prescribed me antibiotics, and I was on my way. I've been on my meds now for 3 days and I feel a lot better. Alabama has the WORST medical care. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I experienced a great lack of office understanding when it came to procedural patient health concerns that were so basic that you would expect the front office area to be able to reply. Dana came across very unschooled when it came to relating to patient needs. She is not fit to be working in the medical arena. There is a required decorum and skill necessary when dealing with the public and she certainly lacked it. She screamed and hollered like an uncontrollable crazy lady toward me two different times when I requested to know who I was speaking with when I had a question regarding Medicare - being that it was my first year. She favors trying to degrade and intimidate another when she thought they were inquiring to much information. Stacey at the front desk was extremely rude and short and unprofessional. I told her I was not going to pay for something they could not tell me what it was for. I paid the co-pay and seen the doctor. When I was finished I went ahead and paid the $40. When I got home and looked at the receipt they had applied the $40 to another patient account. I tried to call but no one there answers the phone and was sent to a third party answering service. They did not understand what had happened so I drove 30mi back to the office. When I asked Stacey if my account had been updated she said, " You still owe $40. I tried to show her where I had paid the bill 2 hours earlier and she said I don't wanna look at that, and started talking to the other lady working the desk like I was not even there. He thinks he doesn't owe the $40 now and I still show he does. Instead of looking at the receipt she just acted as if I was lying. Then when I went to the back where I had paid they were like oh, sorry this happens all the time, its why we are here!? Why you're here? To apply other peoples payment to another account? I figure the $40 was applied to my account incorrectly in the first place and that $40 was actually someone else bill! These people think its funny mixing medical records up. 2 years ago Dr Thomas even mixed my records up and was getting ready to perform mohs surgery in the wrong spot. He outlined the wrong cheek the right side instead of the left side where the cancer was until I informed the nurse before she gave me the injections. She looked at me and said I think you're right, went and got the ipad and Dr Thomas and he looked and said oh yeah, it is the other side. Should have let him got started then hired an attorney. I figured he was local and gave him another chance, but after the billing incident I have found a new dermatologist and will never us TNV again. Terrible experience. GET YOUR BILLING RIGHT! I would post pictures of the receipts but do not want to expose the others patients info...they didn't have any problem handing it to me though! Protect your info, they share with others. IF YOU LOOK AT THE 5* REVIEWS YOU CAN SEE THEIR OFFICCE STAFF IS DEPERATLY TRYING TO HELP THEIR FAILING RATING.
