He said unless my pain was due to surgery or a broken bone he would not complete the Drs. Statement for Aflac. He said my primary Dr. should complete the form, which she did, but she stated that Dr Bhadra really should have completed the document. Aflac denied my coverage because the primary care doctor was not the "treating" doctor. So I received no reimbursement for missing work for 3 weeks. Not all of us can afford to miss work without some financial assistance. One other thing: I had a follow-up tele-visit with Dr. Bhadra. I waited an hour for him and finally hung up. He then called me. I will never go back there.

She said she couldn't do that and would mail it out. On September 1, I called back, during business hours, since I had still not received the receipt and had to leave a message. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Fond took time to explain, in detail, the surgery and the post treatment. Dr. Fond is knowledgeable, detailed oriented, kind and most importantly empathetic. Dr. Fond always greeted me with a smile and was attentive to my every need. After the surgery, his staff called me to find out how I was feeling and even made me a follow up appointment. And then I found Ivy Rehab. From the moment I called to my ongoing experience, they were incredible. Tanvii, an exceptionally highly trained therapist runs on sunshine, passion and skill. Like a loving sergeant major, she pushes you when the stretching hurts and reprimands you (lovingly) when you haven't done your exercises. It can get pretty busy and you can easily be there for over 1.5 hours so you have to communicate with staff and monitor your time. The space and equipment are dated but do the job. You kinda get early 2000s vibes. On my first visit though, I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time which was not fun. The person at the front desk never apologized either which made it worse. Her tone and means of communication were a bit off-putting both in person and on the phone if you're sensitive to the nuances. The other front desk person was fine. Parking is easy. Near Costco and Target. They have another location in west Nyack.

I used Northeast Orthopedics for years for various ailments over the years. My last visit will be…read moremy last time ever using them and I advice that people find another provider. I went there for headaches which my GP asked me to go see a Orthopedics doctor since it could be a neck problem. The Orthopedist rudely responded to me is that they don't fix headaches. I said if it's a neck or upper back issue could it cause headaches and he said yes. So they can fix a headache if it's an orthopedic issue. The other issue and the bigger one of the two is as I stated I was a recurring customer over the years but since I didn't go to them for a bunch of years I had to pay a new customer fee. I've been fighting them ever since on those charges and they refuse to budge. And recently they were hacked into and got mine and others information stolen.
