I wanted to share my experience with moving out of Camelot Square Apartments. I began moving my…read morebelongings into my new home on November 1st, 2024, and my lease ended later that month. During my final cleaning, I discovered that my shop vac and firearm were missing, even though all of my doors were locked. Maintenance had been working on the apartment next to mine for the past couple of months. When I inquired about my missing items, I noticed one of the maintenance workers had my broom. He mentioned that he had entered my apartment to make a repair and mistakenly thought I had already moved out. Unfortunately, they didn't know the whereabouts of my shop vac or firearm. I reported the situation to the office, and the staff checked their log, which is supposed to record every instance when maintenance enters an apartment. However, there was no documentation showing that anyone had been in my unit. The manager assured me that I would receive my security deposit back. After that, I called the police to report my stolen firearm and shop vac. While I was speaking with an officer, the same maintenance worker surprisingly found my shop vac in the basement (where I already checked). An investigation was conducted, but nothing conclusive came from it. As of March 2025, I have made multiple calls and sent emails to the office regarding my security deposit, but I have yet to receive a response. They are so unapologetically unprofessional, the Brentwood team is comprised of a bunch of idiots. They take your money and refuse to return your security and key deposit.. They don't maintain their properties and they address repairs when it's suitable for them not you. I had to take them to small claims court to have my security deposit returned and Rachel's testimony was so full of lies, the judge ruled in my favor, I got the money back plus travel expenses. I could barely get in contact with them...I tried various different methods of contact and found the best method to actually reach someone was through Facebook messenger (sad). Every five or six attempts I attempted to reach them was given a response...fortunately for them there was no other locations in the area and i was pushing to get into the area. Fast forward three months after moving in, receive a letter from the landlord that he fired this company because the neighbors that moved in November wanted out of their lease and they had very similar issues as I did. Broken promises, lies, and lack of communication. But if you want them to represent you with those qualities...this is the perfect match. Maybe apartments aren't their forte and they choose to focus on those and rather just focus on the big fish like houses or something...but show some class and respect to people that are interested in properties!
