Colors that were sold out elsewhere were still available and it was much quieter than the Paris locations so you could shop more comfortably without battlin for a SAs attention. The absolute highlight of this trip to France. With that it became her mission to find this cobbler's shop yet again. We set out on foot to find her gem the very next morning. And to our delight she had not dreamt the cute shop existed, it was in fact real. As a group of five women who enjoy their premier shoe brands, we were all somewhat skeptic of our friend's raving review of her moments spent in the shop. in the end - She was spot on! Make it a mission to buy handmade, premium quality, leather shoes on your next trip to France! Leather sandals, boots, slides, and much much more! Not to be missed! Oh, and I wore my booties the very night I purchased them, walked 5 miles in them with no one ache or pain.

Well, we might be back tomorrow. I want to sleep on my purchase. Oh, it was Mother's Day today. So there were complimentary bouquets of flowers for all the mothers (and daughters?). Maybe for all the women? Everyone was walking around with bouquets. Also, this was the only location that served champagne in silver cups. Supposedly it improves the carbonation; I believe that is a myth. Either way, I appreciate the gesture. Ambiance - Smaller location, but busy enough that we had to wait 20+ minutes for a sales person. Then she handed us off to another sales person (lunch break?). Both were professional. But when the first sales person came back, she noticed all our purchases and she looked sad. If she did not hand us off, she would have gotten the credit. Service - Good. The best so far. Also gave us dining suggestions. Lyon is known for their food, and sadly for us we have still not had a "WOW" meal. Price - Expensive. You are paying for the brand. And hopefully the service... Came here while visiting the beautiful town of Lyon was the greatest find of my whole trip!…read more Nuerjiang was the most helpful and friendly associate that we met in all of the Hermes stores that we have visited throughout Europe. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I am so glad that we stopped in and met him. He took such great care of us each time that we came. The other associates were also very friendly at this location as well. He helped me find the most amazing Birkin bag here. I will definitely be back here to visit next time I am in Europe. Even my husband who hates shopping so much was so impressed that he promises he will be back to visit Nuerjiang to buy me more bags (very rare rare occurrence for him to willing go shopping).

Oh misère, déjà le temps de comprendre qu'on dit plus serre-tête mais headband (comme on dit plus chouchou mais "retourne dans ta province ploucasse" apparemment), une petite boutique super sympa, spécialisée dans ça justement, s'était ouverte dans mon quartier. La créatrice est a-do-rable. Elle a pas hésité à me montrer comment mettre le headband toute seule comme une grande et à me conseiller un de ses articles en soldes parce qu'il correspondait mieux à ce que je voulais que les autres (bon... du coup j'en ai acheté deux... Je suis faible). Elle vend aussi des petits bijoux qui, comme le reste, sont dans un mix cuir tout doux et/ou tissus imprimés. There's a lot of vintage but it either is extremely high end or catered towards men in Lyon. I will say if I see another multi colored windbreaker and video game/band tea from the 80s or early 90s, it will be too soon. Well it's fun to see what other countries and cultures, our valuing, as somebody who lived through the 80s and 90s, I don't understand why it's somehow the height of hipster fashion these days. We were looking for some real quality women's thrift shopping and we found that at Carey Brad shop. The proprietor was very sweet and his English was very good. He was really helpful and, let us know he traveled all around to find his pieces. He was also helpful, and what we were looking for. We only had a chance to stop in for a little bit. The only reason I didn't get five stars is it opened a little bit late, and while it's most likely a sole proprietor, an hours are limited most likely due to Covid, and less of a tourist population, if I do find myself in Lyons I will definitely be going back again. If you're there, highly recommend. Lots of really cute accessories, shoes, and well priced. As noted, there's high end women's vintage in France, a lot of Chanel, and designer, but this spot had quite a variety of price points, and was not high end, but high-quality.
