I had no prior criminal history, no felonies, and no accusations before or since. The case was eventually closed with no charges filed against me, while my ex faced no consequences for making the allegations. Things became hostile after I refused to pay Bill's excessive fees. During our last phone call, he threatened me and called me names. After the call, I immediately sent him an email documenting the conversation so there would be a written record of what had occurred. He never denied any of it or attempted to dispute my account. When I informed the judge about the incident in court, nothing happened. Bill later recommended reducing my parenting time from two days per week and alternating weekends to only two visitations per month. This came after I informed my ex that I might need to leave the country for several months to be with my dying father. In the end, I never left because my father survived, although he was left wheelchair-bound and unable to speak. Despite that, Bill appeared determined to punish me simply for informing my ex of the possibility that I might leave temporarily. He was a deeply harmful person. Over the course of my nearly seven-year custody battle, both attorneys who represented me stated that his conduct toward me appeared biased and improper. However, they also warned me that attempting to have him removed from the case could provoke even more retaliation and further damage my position in court. Overall, horrible person and sad that he is practicing law.
