The problem is that you never know how many people are inside as you can't see in. So you might end up paying 100 nok and the place is empty. I have heard it's better on Saturdays and I was there on a Saturday and it was quite full.

This is based on a Sunday afternoon visit with free music on the terrace. It was very crowded, which would be fine but some of the locals acted like they own the place and we're a bit pushy. Also, the music was average. What they don't tell on the website is it's also karaoke And most of what I heard wasn't that special. If you visit Sunday, maybe go earlier to stake out a table. The crowd is really mixed with a lot of foreigners and ages from early to late 20s. What I don't like is that you have to pay a fee at the door which for me unless a place is a proper club it doesn't make sense to me. Also the line can be quite big so it's better to go early. Jæger is a place that is usually crowded and something is happening there so I would definitely go back. Just would make sure to avoid the queue and wouldn't wear my fanciest outfit as it's a very laid back and crowded bar.

There is a second room too where there is different music and is a bit more intimate. In order to get in you pay the cover charge. I don't remember how much that was but it was above 100. In my opinion not worth for this place. It's a cool place to go dancing but it's slightly too divey for me. I must say I had a good time though! So I would go back if my friends were there.
