There are several floors with aisles of merchandise. You can spend hours browsing for items. It's located in a strip mall with other shops including where you can purchase Vermont Cheese and Maple Syrup. You can also sample wine and spirits nearby. On nice days they sometimes have a flea market in the parking lot with all sorts of items including antiques. There is always ample parking. A must stop if in Vermont.

We entered through a door with a giant bear next to it for photo opps, and into the part with all kinds of fun Vermont (maple) treats, drinks, and other snacks. Then there was main floor, upstairs, and downstairs to see. Missed downstairs since I heard that was mostly furniture, and I spent about 2.5 hours scouring all the rest. Prices were all over the place, as is so often the case with antique malls. Bargains and Zingers abounded. Because I bought so many smaller items, it overwhelmed the young man doing the check out, and it soon before they were closing. He did not know how to prioritize, and unlike the ladies that opened the 2nd register, he did not go over all that I bought, confirming the details, which frustrated me, because I'm pretty sure I got overcharged for a couple things. So, make note, and add up stuff yourself if you are buying more than a handful of items. The staff sprinkled throughout to help open cases to show you merch were all very friendly and eager to help. If you're antiquing through New England, I definitely think this should be on your list!

Simply the best antique store I have ever visited. It's a true not-to-miss gem and the people who…read morerun it must be the friendliest in the business. The items are truly antique, clean and well-organized, and many are very unique. The prices were very grounded and we worked out several bargains without much, if any, negotiating. We visited many shops on our trip to Vermont (from NYC), but this shop was easily the most impressive. We met the owners when we were shopping for antiques to use for our wedding. The store is off-the-beaten-path (approx 4.5 miles off route 7 and downtown Brandon), but it is well worth the few extra miles of travel. And the meticulously landscaped 14-acre property, including a duck pond, a barn, a gazebo, a huge outcropping of rock, numerous flowers, and an early 1900s fire-ready tipi or teepee, makes the visit a truly pleasant experience. There are literally have thousands of well organized items in this multi-room shop contained within a winged, multi-level, barn-like structure on the property next to the owner's home. To demonstrate the owner's passion for antiques, the home is a historic colonial which they had moved from another property further down the road. Aside from being very helpful and informative, they were very generous to us. After describing the look we wanted for our wedding tables, the owner offered dried vines from his property to use as natural decorations. And when I described how we wanted to make birch candle holders (with glass votives carved into the tops), we were offered several beautiful birch logs to work with. They also referred us to an antique shop up the road called The Barn Antiques. They said she had a lot of what we were looking for (old tins, crates, glass bottles). Owner is Sharon Glaser (802)-465-8069 or (973)-420-9967, and the shop is on Route 7 & Three Mile Bridge Road in Middlebury, VT.
