Since my main concern was comics, I checked over their huge collections, very well organized. Also a fair stock of many Silver Age books. Since I am in the process of downsizing my 60+ year collection of mostly Golden Age and Silver Age, about the only things I am looking for is (1) an affordable Batman #1 (LOL) and a handful of EC comics from the 50s. But I came for a specific reason - to get a long box of comics to share with grandkids and mostly donate to the local USO. There is a whole wall of long box comics on sale for $1 individual, plus a long box of your choice for $75. One row across the top and another on the floor beneath. I spent about 90 minutes grazing through for appropriate books for service members and families, nothing PG or higher. The manager was very knowledgeable about comics and very helpful. I did bring my own long box to fill.

We loved talking books with the owner/shop keeper and browsing the newer designed editions of favorite classics, like Jane Austen novels or the Harry Potter series. I loved the section on unique positivity and poetry books as well and appreciated the lightweight paperbacks easy for sliding into a carryon bag for my flight home. This made for a lovely stop to add to my poolside reading collection.

I loved that it is not just all books but also some great bookish merchandise, and the owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and had some great recommendations based on what my friend and I had picked up. She even got excited when I handed a book to my friend that I had been recommending for over a year and the owner's enthusiasm about the book was the final decision maker to go ahead and take the plunge.

I happened to actually find a gift for my boyfriend here, a gorgeous print of a blue lobster on a black background (will share a picture of it after Valentine's Day since it's currently wrapped up) so you can find treasures like that too here. The location is right in the heart of downtown Dunedin, so wicked easy to check out if you're wandering my around the area already. There's some parking out front, and loads of free parking in the surrounding areas at different parking lots. The ladies I've met in the shop are also super kind here, willing to provide tons of details about the products, & embody the small town shopkeeper who knows the regulars and helps them find the best pieces.
