They really have something for everyone here. My boyfriend, who is more of a tea than a coffee person, hasn't found any complaints when trying their drinks (and he may be as much of a drink critic as I am). If you have kids, Blue Bunny also does creative and fun events to engage and involve your little ones in some much-needed book-themed fun. With our family expecting our first baby, we're beyond thrilled to bring her over to Blue Bunny's events, no matter how old she is. Blue Bunny is such a staple to the Dedham community, and I will always enjoy going back for some yummy coffees and good books.

There are more children's books overall but they do carry toys, trinkets, cards, crafts, historical books and more. The woman working the front was super sweet and the lady behind the cafe counter was too, their service was welcoming. As far as value I'd rather support local than the big store. Their prices are the norm but yes you can find majority of these books at big retailers for less. They both also gave a military discount even though I don't believe that is the norm for them but much appreciated. Overall great experience.

They have a great selection of books and videos as well, as cards and other religious items. The staff is always very nice and pleasant as well as helpful. I found one of my favorite movies, The Scarlet and the Black there for a cheaper price than I could find anywhere else, even online! For those who like a deal, they also have a good assortment of sale items. I recommend this store for anyone looking for Christian books, videos and religious items.

More Than Words is a nonprofit bookstore that sells new and used books while supporting young…read morepeople ages 16-24 who are system-involved, including youth from foster care, court-involved backgrounds, housing insecurity, and more. The young people help run the store, learn job skills, and work toward personal and career goals--and it truly shows in the care and pride behind the space. The shop itself is small but mighty. I walked out with four excellent-condition used books (three of which had already been on my TBR list) and somehow also added two cookbooks because... no regrets. Everything was very affordable, and it felt good knowing my purchase was directly supporting youth in the local community. If you're near one of their locations (I believe there's another in the Boston area), I highly recommend stopping in or checking out their online storefront. The exterior signage alone is remarkable! Definitely among my favorite bookstores world-wide. I came away with their The Papercuts Anthology: What Happened Here, a collection of poems, essays, and fiction by authors they hosted during their first year (2014) in business. What a nice souvenir, co-edited by the store's owner, Kate Layte.

My nervous little lady left feeling confident and proud of her experience. Lex did the cut and was great. I see another review saying that the LGBTQ books were too in your face. I have a lot opinions on that sentiment, but what I will say is that I didn't think they were "in your face." There was a healthy selection of books reflecting all lived experiences in our society, including immigrants, neurodiverse people, BIPOC, and yes, LGBTQ. I'm glad my daughter will grow up with exposure and respect for everyone. And, for what it's worth, there were also lots of "normal" books about Disney princesses and cars and animals too. I picked up 2 Dubai Bars ($25.00 each) for friends and a Dubai Birthday Cake ($25.00) for myself. I also informed them that I had an order to pickup. The staff member asked me for my name and brought my online order to me. After picking up my order, I received an email saying thank you for picking up your order.
