Then they hand me some excuse about something being 250% too much or something. I have absolutely no clue what they are speaking of. The lady we spoke with tried to say the sytstem shows they sent out some sort of letter via regular usps mail and because of this they feel as though they are relieved of any wrong doing. I never had an insurance claim i did not do anything different other than refi and have a forberance. When i asked how this letter was sent out they said usps. Just because you send something USPS regular mail doesn't mean you are relieved of obligation. USPS has different services such as tracking, and signature required which one would think they would use for such an important issue. Nope you simply mailed out something and assumed i received it. How many ppl get the wrong mail daily? don't get mail that says you should have? Then before the call was even over the lady hung up and disconnected from the call. There was no cursing, there was no rudeness just a heated conversation , which should be understandable when a company doesn't want to take any responsibility for anything. I don't know who to blame here but what i do know is just beacuse you drop something in the mail doesn't mean its going to make it to the person. It could go to the wrong place, it could get lost, damaged, anything could happen. So if you are going to cancel or not renew someones policy maybe you should make sure they have an oppurtunity to actually be informed. They can't provide a telephone recording , they can't provide tracking for this so called letter, i am just supposed to be ok. Horrible service and still no clue why they would not renew a policy that had been paid on time every time.

I switched to this agency after being with All State for all my life i.e. over 20yrs. They quoted…read moreme about the same rate as All State with a promise that as I become older customer, my premium would go down. I thought it does not hurt trying them if the rates are about the same. I received the confirmed quote, policy etc via email, but after a month they increased the premium by 50% saying that this is from the Corporate office and there is nothing they could do. They suggested that they could cancel the policy if this new rate was not acceptable to me and they even offered to coordinate with All State to make sure the policy was easily transitioned to All State. So, I cancelled the policy with this agency (and State Farm) and switched back to All State. However, when I received the refund from this agency, they deduced about 15% amount saying this is a cancellation charge, which they did not mention before cancelling the policy. I was fooled to work with them by seeing great reviews here. Not sure if all these reviews are real. But to me, this agency is just pathetic. I wish I could give them a 0 star here. I would never go to them or State Farm and would advise everyone to be cautious when working with this agency.
