They also do lots of unusual spangly jewellery and other bits and pieces - groovy fairy lights and Indian style lamp shades making it a great place to go and by girly birthday presents. There is also a small range of clothes in the back but go to the other Polly's just down the road next to Charlies for a better range.

There are some lovely handmade soaps and jewelry and a lot of other bits and pieces (some are perhaps a little bit tacky but mostly pretty nice). I love this place for small gifts or gift ideas, though I prefer the other two shops for clothes. Nice!

It really is a shop with a difference which is a breath of fresh air seeing as all shops seem to look the same these days. Well done to the owners for being original. Always a nice shopping experience and the staff here were particularly helpful and didn't rush or bother you. Laura Ashley herself was Welsh and I think thats why the brand is close to peoples hearts in Wales. There also used to be a factory in Wales where I had some curtains made up which were perfect but I think thats gone now, shame! Definitly worth a look if you are furnishing out your home and want quality products.
Lidl

Food prices in the UK are just too high, and I miss a quality of eating culture very, very much. I could not live like this forever. Every month once I shop here now: for the basics!!!!!! First, I get the sparkling mineral water in the bottles, lots of juices, toilet paper, pasta sauces. The beer they sell is good, too - but here the price is a lot because of high UK tax. When Lidl came to Britain my English and Welsh friends did not like it at all - but now that they see one can actually save some money - and some of the products are good or on the same level with other shops (but cheaper) they like it!!!!!

The staff are friendly enough, and know enough information about the place to help you get around. Don't expect great quality, though - I bought some potatoes here once and one of them exploded, coating the inside of my cupboard in foul-smelling gunk. Fortunately I was in student halls ,so no-one noticed.
