The sandwiches are pre-made and they were pretty good. They had the usual variety of Jamon, salami, cheese, etc. I thought it was good not great. They also had tartines which are open faced sandwiches. We got a cheese, chicken, and mushroom tartine that was cold--essentially like eating cold pizza but good. They also have a wide variety of sweets here that all looked delicious although we did not buy. Even though I thought the savory food was just ok, this place is well air conditioned and was open when other places were closed! Definitely a cute place with nice staff. Also, i double checked the address and I do not believe the picture shown in the banner on Yelp is the correct photo of the place--I am attaching a photo of the outside that has glass windows/ doors and a gray overhang. I got 2 sandwiches - one with chicken, lettuce and tomato, and one with ham. I liked the ham one better than the one with chicken, but they were both good and the bread and ingredients were very fresh. The ham one had butter, the ham was spicy and flavorful, and I wanted more after it was done. The sandwiches were 4.80 euros each, which was totally reasonable. The baked goods were even better, as I got the chocolatine (chocolate croissant), for around 1 euro and it was super flaky, with many layers, and the right amount of chocolate inside. I wish I could have eaten 2 of them. We also got a tarte aux pommes (apple tart) which was equally as delicious: flaky, not too sweet, with a decent amount of sliced apples on top. I wish I could have tried more of their things, but really glad I had a chance to try a variety of savory and salty things. I would definitely come back here again and recommend it if you're in Bordeaux.
