Whitney and her husband truly share the love for boating and the experiences familys make on the water. They not only took the time to make sure we were up to speed on using their equipment, they made sure we had everything we needed and locations of where to travel while in the area. Their equipment is brand new and well maintained, had no issues at all other than the weather. During the bad weather Whitney called me to make sure my family was okay. I did not read reviews before I went there and now I know why he had no customers. I think we dodged a bullet because a lot of reviews say he charges everyone for jet ski damage. I think he wanted to make the screaming match a physical altercation. He is old and cranky and needs to get out of working with the public. He lied and said they didn't have records on us, then called our other number on file (from before.) So, again, he was well aware we had two bikes. I hate to think of this version of the story, but I wonder if they were trying to rip me off. He said he was ordering tires for the two bikes, and when we arrived, he tried to pass off only one set of tires, that were truly only $350/set check that fact online (max) for $650. He knew I was ordering two sets (I said I had two bikes and he had our records, proof was he called my alternate phone number,) and they're smoking something to think can pass of that kind of markup for only one set of tires. Deal was canceled and I'm not going back. Glad to have gotten out before other issues presented themselves. Smh

Buzzard Rock courtesy dock/boat ramp is sometimes forgotten be cause many people just use the dock…read moreat Buzzard Rock Marina. I like this one better because it's usually not as crowded as the marina ramp and you don't have to deal with all the cars that are in the marina parking lot. There is also a lot of foot traffic at the marina ramp because of people going to the restaurant there. This courtesy dock/boat ramp is located on the same road as Buzzard Rock Marina, but you make a right turn before you get to the marina. Just look out for the sign & you won't miss it. The parking lot has about 14 spots for your truck & trailer to pull through. There is a small roundabout you use to pull up past the boat ramp so you can then back down it. The pavement on the ramp has deep groves on it for traction of the vehicle and even for your shoes, which is a plus. I cannot count the number of times I've slipped on a boat ramp. The ramp enters the Champion Springs Cove. We loaded two jet skis in on a Monday afternoon & there was only two other trucks in the lot. I've never been here on a weekend & I would think that it would be much busier then. I was able to jet the jet skis off & tie them to the courtesy dock that's located next to the boat ramp. It was a pretty painless process & the boat ramp isn't too long so there isn't a lot of awkward backing up that some people have when launching a watercraft.

We had a great time cruising down the river on the boat, and NO peddling is required! The boat fits 16 and we were comfortable with our group of 10. Our guides were awesome, blasted tunes for us and pointed out historical landmarks as we passed them on the river and gave us the history of those points. I looked at booking the larger pontoon saloon also, but ultimately I am VERY glad we went with River Queen instead. The saloon boat was jam packed with 3-4 different groups of 10+ people. We had the peddle boat all to ourselves!

They shuttled us from the end to the start and set us up and sent us on our way. once on the river we enjoyed ourselves until we realized we weren't paddling fast enough. it really took an hour to get to the end. the last 1/3 was a great way to see the Nashville skyline. once at the end they pulled us out of the water and we were on the way to broadway. easy peasy.
