Whitney and her husband truly share the love for boating and the experiences familys make on the water. They not only took the time to make sure we were up to speed on using their equipment, they made sure we had everything we needed and locations of where to travel while in the area. Their equipment is brand new and well maintained, had no issues at all other than the weather. During the bad weather Whitney called me to make sure my family was okay. Also thank you for supporting and being PATRIOTIC!!! God bless you all and THANK YOU LAKE LEGENDS BOAT RENTALS AND TEAM!!!

I did not read reviews before I went there and now I know why he had no customers. I think we dodged a bullet because a lot of reviews say he charges everyone for jet ski damage. Hope you take my advice and find another jet ski rental business

"The worst experience I've ever had -- and we paid for this?"…read more We drove two hours excited for a fun day on the water, but what we got instead was a blatant display of racism and disrespect. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was cold and hostile. The service? Absolutely unacceptable. A heavyset white woman with short hair -- who was clearly not happy to see people like us -- immediately started questioning our English. Mind you, we were communicating just fine. Still, she continued to belittle us, asking if we "even understood" what she was saying, in front of other customers. It didn't stop there. The owner, "Dave", came over while we were calmly sitting down and filling out the forms. He suddenly turned on my brother's wife, demanding that she speak English only, and his tone was aggressive and demeaning. That was the final straw. We ripped up the papers, stood up, and decided we were not going to spend a dime in a place that treats people this way. And just when we thought it was over -- Dave came outside and started taking pictures of our license plates, as if we had done something wrong. Apparently, walking away from their dirty little business upset him. To make things worse, we later found reviews saying they keep the $500 deposits from customers. This whole operation feels like a scam with a side of racism. Thanks for ruining our weekend, Cap'n Dave's. We will never come back -- and we'll make sure others know what you really are.

Maybe if he gets some training in actually listening, it would help. He couldn't even get my return phone number correct. He lied and said they didn't have records on us, then called our other number on file (from before.) So, again, he was well aware we had two bikes. I hate to think of this version of the story, but I wonder if they were trying to rip me off. He said he was ordering tires for the two bikes, and when we arrived, he tried to pass off only one set of tires, that were truly only $350/set check that fact online (max) for $650. He knew I was ordering two sets (I said I had two bikes and he had our records, proof was he called my alternate phone number,) and they're smoking something to think can pass of that kind of markup for only one set of tires. Deal was canceled and I'm not going back. Glad to have gotten out before other issues presented themselves. Smh

Buzzard Rock courtesy dock/boat ramp is sometimes forgotten be cause many people just use the dock…read moreat Buzzard Rock Marina. I like this one better because it's usually not as crowded as the marina ramp and you don't have to deal with all the cars that are in the marina parking lot. There is also a lot of foot traffic at the marina ramp because of people going to the restaurant there. This courtesy dock/boat ramp is located on the same road as Buzzard Rock Marina, but you make a right turn before you get to the marina. Just look out for the sign & you won't miss it. The parking lot has about 14 spots for your truck & trailer to pull through. There is a small roundabout you use to pull up past the boat ramp so you can then back down it. The pavement on the ramp has deep groves on it for traction of the vehicle and even for your shoes, which is a plus. I cannot count the number of times I've slipped on a boat ramp. The ramp enters the Champion Springs Cove. We loaded two jet skis in on a Monday afternoon & there was only two other trucks in the lot. I've never been here on a weekend & I would think that it would be much busier then. I was able to jet the jet skis off & tie them to the courtesy dock that's located next to the boat ramp. It was a pretty painless process & the boat ramp isn't too long so there isn't a lot of awkward backing up that some people have when launching a watercraft.
