I didn't know a dog park so perfect existed! We have a lab and he is a trained duck dog so to finally have an open body of water bigger than a puddle in Florida for him to go in is such a dream! Our little Frenchie pit mix had so much fun running and playing in and out of the water! There is SO much room to run & so many friends to make. We went this morning for the first time and are about to head back tonight!

We love this park lots of trees clean picnic tables all over great place for both small and large dogs.

Nice large expanse for the dogs to run. Plenty of trees for shade and tables or benches to sit while your dog plays and swims. I recommend bringing a bowel to fill because there's only one water station near the bathroom and this is a big park.

Exploring but you can tell there is plenty of running space!

This was our first time here. Our dog, Sarge loved it! There is a huge pond in the middle of the park that dogs can play in. Just be careful of the turtles, there are many! But they didn't seem to bother our boy. There are also restrooms, a dog washing station (wasn't working that day) and separate areas for large and small dogs. Only down side is there isn't much areas for shade. On a summer day here, its quite unbearable at times so bring water!!

We LOVEEEEE this dog park. We started coming every Sunday for the last month, it's now our Sunday tradition. Our lab loves the pond so so so much. She just walks in and swims; just minding her business in her own little world. Our German Shepard loves the water too, but enjoys running around with others the whole time. Such a huge area for our high energy breeds to let loose and have fun! (And the location is perfect, we go have lunch downtown at any pet friendly outdoor restaurants and walk around!)

This is as good as it gets folks! -A pond for dogs to play in. -Separate fenced sections: Aggressive or unsocialized dogs, small dogs, and large dogs. -A doggy washing station, like a car wash but for your dog! Who thought of that?! -Restrooms! -14 acres of running room -Well manicured lawn and beautiful scenery with trees and benches -Doggy bag stations for poopoo! And trash cans! -Donations accepted, and we'll deserved! I mean, come on! What more could you ask for? Unfortunately my dog passed away a couple of years ago but I STILL COME HERE! It's great if you like walking for exercise, too. I love seeing all the different breeds and watching their eyes light up when they've realized they can run free! Beautiful place!

    Always fun finding turtles!

My dogs love the rolling hills and large running area! Set up very nicely! My large dogs appreciate the large dog section so they don't have to worry about running over the little guys!

What a perfect day at the Bark Park!

I have heard that dogs are getting ear infections from that water, there is a big dump down the road and it can be getting in that water.

What a great dog park! 14 acres of running room and a pond for the dogs to play. A little shade might help but I will be here many times.

Fishing is permitted from the fishing dock on the St. Johns River. There is also camping, cabins for rent, hiking, and manatee viewing. You can even rent an all-terrain tracked wheelchair for accesible hiking! You can find a gift shop and a concession stand inside the park. Follow the Blue Spring State Park Facebook page to stay up to date on fun activities and events like Manatee Bingo, Meditate & Move with the Manatees, guided moonlight hikes, and the Junior Ranger Program. My favorite event of the year is Firefly Nights from around mid March to mid April. You get to walk the boardwalk after the park closes to see thousands of Florida fireflies! It is absolutely magical, and a little surreal. Weekdays are less crowded, but honestly if you can only go on a weekend it's worth braving the crowd. It's a separately-ticketed event, and it does sell out some nights so make sure to get your tickets in advance!

Park: This was one of the cleanest and best organized state parks I have ever visited. The parking was easy and the access to the main attraction was easy to get to. The walkway trail along the spring was well taken care of and safe. There is no graffiti or vandalized buildings in the park. Thank you State of Florida and California you should take notes. Attraction: The Springs are the main attraction with options to swim, tube, snorkel, and scuba dive in the spring in the summer. When we visited that was all restricted because the manatees were here to nest in the winter. This was awesome and it was great to see these amazing creatures in their winter respite. This is a must if you are visiting the Orlando area in the winter. Cost: Six dollars to come into the park with up to 8 people in the vehicle. Great price for an unforgettable experience.
