Never have I felt pressured to spend money on anything that wasn't necessary. Dr.Pitard always gives me the breakdown of all the possible treatment options and allows me to choose the best option. From the front office to the vet techs and groomer, everyone is great! I have had a lot of veterinarians over the years and none of them have been this good. You won't be disappointed!

I was able to visit Hapoy Hound before dropping our Dobby off and felt the location was very warm and friendly. It is not thr Ritz Carlton if dog hotels but the staff were very friendly and provided me updates while we were away. They have a board they put up of each dogs meals and who can play with who. The backyard is very large so lots of running around to be had. My pooch wears a FI collar so we could see when he ate/drank/barked and ran around. When we picked him up he seemed like he had a great time and no behavior issues (in fact maybe a little better behaved). I would definitely recommend this place if your in the Monroe area. He wasn't mean, he just wanted to play. he would jump up on us, and our small kids, and knock them down. After 3 week of training, in house at Muttworks, Keith brought him home. Rip is now the perfect dog! Our kids can now play with him, with no worries of being tackled! When we take Rip in for group classes, the other trainers come up to him, call him by name, and tell him how proud they are of him. Keith, along with his staff, are loving, and treat Rip like he is their dog. If you have a dog, that needs some training, I highly recommend Muttworks. They've sure made our dog the perfect companion for our kids, and us! We would highly recommend their services! Keith and his staff, are truly dog whisperers!!

When we took…read moreour 6-month-old (now almost a year old) German Shepard to them, he was very reactive, scared of going out to stores, the vet, or meeting new people... All of these were a nightmare for me (and him). Now we can go out to stores, do outdoor activities, and even with groups of people. I was so impressed with how they turned his training around that I have also taken his "sister" a 4-month-old German Shepard to have her trained as well (dropped her off for training at 12 weeks old to start her off right). I took 2 handfuls (fur babies) in and got 2 very well-behaved best friends back. After 6 months we are now in protection training, and it is going great. The classes are very informative and, most importantly, fun because let's be honest, if you're not having fun then your pet is not having fun and now, you're not going to classes. Everybody I have interacted with at MuttWorks has been very professional, friendly and more importantly, THEY LOVE AND TREAT EVERY SINGLE DOG THEY TRAIN LIKE THEIR OWN.

They have always been superbly informative in responses to all the questions I propel at them. And they are super friendly with my animals as well in which I know they enjoy their experiences. Having a pet is expensive, especially once you start taking them to the vet with $200 vaccination bills (usually the initial visit) and $300 spay fees, per animal. Prescription fees are at a great price. Therefore, if you're not ready financially to take care of your pets, please don't complain about the pricing. They don't offer payment plans which I was surprised about, but them doing their job at a quality level takes that shock away. The vets understand how pricey it gets, so they can resonate. Definitely recommend Petstar for those that are new to having animals and have questions usually. Wish they had a website for their retail store!
