We have been coming here for years to wash our dog. Today, the owner lost our business. We put in the correct amount of money to purchase the 10 minutes of service. Again, we have been coming here for YEARS. When there is a minute or two left of service, the machine loudly beeps a few times to alert you. We know what this beep sounds like. It beeps loudly...just to really drive that point home. 10 minutes of service had not gone by and without warning, the service stopped. My dog was covered in shampoo and was soaking wet. My mother went to go ask for help, and a young guy tried to tell her that he had been cleaning in the back room for 10 minutes and we were already there when he started, so we were wrong. When we got to the dog wash (at dusk), the light in the wash room was off (it is motion sensor) and clicked on when we walked in. I saw him cleaning. So that's not accurate. He told my mother that he would be back in a second. Almost 10 minutes go by, and my dog is standing in the bath still soaked to the bone and shivering. My mother went back out to find someone since this young guy apparently was not coming back. She finds the owner and the owner said "Ma'am that machine ran for 10 minutes and you got your money's worth." My mom corrected him because we obviously know that the beep didn't go off and the time was not done. He said "The bell went off. Maybe the music was too loud and you just didn't hear it." There was music playing outside the carwash that was barely audible from inside the dog wash room. My mother tells him that his young worker said he was going to check it out and never came back, and the owner responds that the young guy's father is sick so we shouldn't be getting mad at him. What does that have anything to do with absolutely any part of this situation? So the owner goes into the back room of the dog wash and comes into the dog wash with a remote. He tries to restart it but can't because he sees we put a few more dollars in the machine. We did this in the time when the young worker clearly wasn't coming back, because we were just going to eat the loss and try to get our shivering dog warm. The machine did not take our $5 bill no matter what we did, so that effort was wasted. He starts condescendingly saying why would we put more money in if we were waiting for help. We told him why, and he starts raising his voice at my mother saying she is not letting him get a word in edgewise. We remained adamant that we were not wrong and he said "Ma'am I think you shouldn't come here anymore" and then slammed the door to the back room in my mother's face. We put more money in the machine that my mom had retrieved from the car when she went to go get help. As we are rinsing our dog, the young worker poked his head in, handed my mom $8, my mom said "I hope your dad is okay," and the young worker gave her a confused, dirty look and slammed the door on her too. We finished and left. NEVER GO HERE. Never give this rude individual your money. Never give this guy the chance to let your dog stand there shivering and soaking wet for almost 20 minutes with no care for the dog's well being. read more
