However, I was a bit uneasy when I called the hairstylist a few days later to discuss an uneven haircut, and she wanted to charge me an extra fee for the correction. A few days later, I visited a nearby stylist who offered a complimentary quick fix, which restored my confidence and ended my search for the perfect blend of quality and fairness.

Hanh is the best!…read more Made an appointment after learning that she's specialized in butterfly haircuts and wow she did not disappoint. She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic. She is so bubbly and fun to talk to and she is an expert in her field. I have never learned so much about hair ever in my life! Even for styling, she gave so many tips. Hanh, you should consider teaching if you ever plan to! Overall, I am a happy customer that left with beautiful voluminous hair. Will be back for a maintenance cut and a fun girly chat!

THE BEST If I could…read moregive her 10 stars, I absolutely would. I literally just got my haircut and had to write this review before even leaving, she's that good. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous going in since I hadn't had a haircut in years. My hair is straight, flat, and typically hard to style, and I was hoping to add some volume and soft curls but wasn't sure what would actually work. Hanh immediately put me at ease with her warm, funny, and welcoming personality. She's genuinely so kind. During the consultation, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and helped refine my ideas into something even better. I walked away feeling confident and excited instead of anxious. I showed her a few inspiration photos, and she didn't just match them--she completely exceeded them. She absolutely nailed the look, even better than I imagined. I rarely write reviews, but this experience truly deserved one. I'll definitely be coming back to her again!

I was really excited to try this salon but unfortunately left feeling disappointed with both my…read morehair and how my concerns were handled. I booked a toner and haircut for Saturday at 1:30 PM. I was called beforehand and told my stylist was running behind, but I could still come at 1:30 and wait or come at 2:30. I chose to keep my original time. When I arrived, they had another stylist do my service instead. I showed a picture of the chocolate tone I wanted, but my hair came out with red undertones and wasn't what I was hoping for. When I called the owner, Desiree, to express my concerns, I felt her response was rude and dismissive. She explained that I would have needed a lowlight service to achieve the look I wanted, which I wish had been communicated before my hair was done. What bothered me most was the lack of empathy. I explained that I felt really unhappy and unattractive with my hair, and I didn't feel like my concerns mattered. Getting your hair done should make you leave feeling beautiful and confident, and unfortunately I left feeling neither. I truly believe kindness and understanding go a long way, especially when a client is already upset. I hope future clients who have concerns are treated with more empathy and care.

The fact that I spent the entire morning trying to find someone for a haircut but also take me in…read morewithout an appointment. Amy, thank you ( because we did do a late appointment, 8pm). Upon arrival she made me feel comfortable just because I'm an awk person and I felt like our convo was natural but also I really liked how my hair turned out. My hair was extremely, dry, itchy scalp, and a little gross but I did have dandruff . after leaving her salon my hair felt refreshed and healthier and I did appreciate her making me comfortable enough to actually ask her about hair product recommendation and suggestions because I never did feel comfortable enough to ask anyone else and I always stayed quiet. I asked for curtain bangs, to cut off the really dry ends that I have, and a straight across cut just to even out my strands because I was cutting my own hair LOL. I also did enjoy the fact that her hair place was at a salon with their own cubicle. I personally don't like open space and was really looking for a place like this. Props to the fact that its near my local mall, and parking was not hard to find could get packed on the weekend BUT plenty of parking near JC penny. 10/10 will come back and recommend. Hair cut : $65 ( i think ) Hair shampoo ( that I personally purchased) : $25 Tip: $20

She did an excellent job of walking me through my haircut and she made sure to talk to me and show me exactly what she was cutting. There are many hairstylists out there who do not take their clients wishes into account and decide to cut whatever they feel is best without their client's permission. Any time she cut more off than we originally talked about she asked for permission first which I thought was very considerate. I felt very at ease with her and was very happy with my haircut and blowout!
