MY experiences with her: Disinterest (whassamattuh, hun, stage 3 C not interesting or urgent enough for you?), unmotivated, inactive, and strikes me as a "doctor" who wants only easy patients.
The first delay in her seeing me after my first surprise hospital stay was kind of on me, but when I tried to remedy that a while later, I was shut down by her (trash) staff. They were struggling, you see, to work on the cancellations from Barillare GOING ON VACATION.
That's not my problem. And if her staff is that badly trained that they'd get snotty and condescending about it with me, and they most definitely did, that's on HER.
And then I started reading my file notes, entered by her, on my patient portal. I mean ... at least half were outright wrong. She sits in the room with you, types away, and clearly isn't listening.
I wanted a second opinion about something, so I made an appointment with another family practitioner, which of course she saw in my file.
Did she ask me about it? Nope. We had one last (unsatisfactory) appointment during which she neither did or said anything useful, and after that, she vanished as my PCP. She just ... quit ... without an explanation. This is now why I refer to her as Dr. Barelythere. She's earned that.
These are just a couple of highlights.
Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.
Love my new PCP, btw. She's engaged, she follows up, and she makes me feel valued. read more
